Hi guys ,
I have purchased and installed c6 led for MEHRAN I want to ask you are these safe for drive, I have listened about these lED's that these can get fire while driving.is that true?

C6 are Chinese brand.

If your car electrical wiring is designed to run 55/60W headlight then using more than that will definitely cause an issue which may result to damage wiring or burning the lights.

Better to use what is recommended.
Also using white LEDs in halogen housing is not legal in term of driving rules.

C6 LED's are pathetic and you'll probably throw them out in under a week. Their LED placement is bad and they can't mimic the filament placement of a halogen bulb causing light to get unfocused.

Every aftermarket product puts you, your life and your vehicle on a risk. Wires used in after market products are of cheaper quality and are not of pure copper. Therefore when you use any heavy electrical appliance, it can fire the electrical wiring and consequently putting your life on edge.

Original bulb has better build quality whereas these Chinese products don't.

Any component that is not of pure copper can heatup to an extent that the rubber insulation starts melting off the wire when current passes by. It was just an example, any elctrical component that is of poor quality can malfunction anytime.

Please buy geniune parts. If you can't afford geniune parts, don't fall for low quality products while putting yours and your family's life in danger.

these are Chinese, never reliable and stupidly dangerous, they will go out anytime, burn your wiring and can cause major damage to your car.

Personally I am of the view that if you are buying something which is either Chinese or something from a specific Seller based in Lahore (who has his own brands and uploads youtube videos) you should also buy a small fire extinguisher.

I am not against Chinese brands some are good but the majority available in Pakistan are cheap

Whoever installs an LED or similar lights keep in mind that the glare of lights always create problem for the opposite / incoming traffic and remember its not good so you will get alot of BADduas from people getting annoyed from the light glare.

so its upto you whether you go for the bright lights or restrain yourself from giving troubles to others.

these C6 are dirt cheap. Rs 1000-1300.

and accordingly have crap quality. i have used the same leds and they went bad a couple of months of usage.

no problem with regards to wiring. simple plug and play.

you can use upto 55watt with no issues. more than that you need to run a separate wiring.

the only reason this led would cause fire if it was extremely bad quality and shorted itself.

@nfssaad please elaborate the problem encountered by you..... And how was the light quality of c6.... I want to swap my stock halogens in suzuki mehran with some good lights.... Would c6 led be better or should I go for high end halogens (i.e osram nightbreaker or Philip whitevision)

bad light focus. scattered over a long distance. good for short distance only.

then one of the low beams stopped working. the chip and build quality is just bad.

theres a reason this costs Rs 1000, and the Philips ultinon Leds cost 20,000

no. i have not used these.

currently using 100 watt narva rally vision. with completely new wiring and relays.

original wiring circuit is still intact and is used for powering on the relays only.
