Cable Less Engine's IDLE adjustments

Its the ECU which controls the Idling speed. The engine RPM is monitored by the crankshaft position sensor which plays a vital role in the engine timing functions for fuel injection, sparks and valve timing.

Experts like Xulfiqar, JZ and waisayahemd can tell u the best.
Get your valve clearance done if u are having issues with RPM.

If the Idle speed in this case is being controlled by the ECU, then the ECU programmers might help you out.. One such tool is "M35080V6 EEPROM ERASER/PROGRAMMER".. it is available at around 180-200USD

morani is right, The OBD & OBD2 scanners only let u read the engine data. The ECU programmers can tell u if there is any software to alter the values of ECU

You can adjust the Idle by adjusting the Throttle Position Sensor. There must be a screw on the TPS, losen it and then move it forward or backward till you get the desired idle rpm

My dear Saad Uk;
there is no TPS in 1kr fe "toyota vitz new shape" instead it has a TPPS at accelerator pedal I tried some JUGARS at the pedal but is hardened the brakes.
Yes in 1nz "corolla X" there is an adjustment at throttle body and one can easily adjust the IDLE from there.

Anyways am still waiting for a concrete advice from an expert.

Idle speed can not be adjusted. The sensor can only be reset so that factory set RPM is obtained. If you want to adjust, I guess more expensive custom solutions are required (which tuners use)

I don't know exactly but I believe its TPS. In any case you just need to tell the Toyota guy to reset the RPM and he will do it via OBD. Its a single click of a button and takes 2-3 seconds. No biggie
