What are these cables/connectors for?Should they be connected somewhere?
There is 1 connector that is present in any car which is for the seat belt warning system. Cars may have more connectors depending on option like heated seats or powered seats
Yes these connectors are supposed to be connected. There should be connectors under the seat where you plug these
such cables are for seat belt latch in any JDM vehicle. Always disconnected to disable /remove belt sign & beep, specially in air bag deployed front collision repaired JDM scrap imports.
The car, to the best of my knowledge, is non accidental and yeah the airbag warning light remains always on.

Brother how can you confirm it?
If its non-accidental, especially from front, and air bags never deployed, then there might be something wrong in the sensors, etc. (if no Jugaar has been done). Again, experts can guide best.
This is also important, as GOD Forbid, ALLAH Kabhi Na Karay; if in future, if anything bad happens, then air bags might never deploy, despite being present there and untouched.
Get your vehicle scanned for any / all fault codes, etc. ASAP.
