Go for D5xxx series. D5100 or more would suffice for a great starting point. Not sure about the price. If ample funds are available, upgrade the kit 18-55 to 18-105mm.

I guess you mean the Bokeh Effect. Usually a 50mm lens with a short f stop like 1.4 or 1.8 is used for this effect.

yes it can be done. try keeping the f stop to minimum value (i believe that would be 3.5 incase of 18-55) and getting close to the object you are focusing background will go blur or alternately you can zoom in too however with zoom f stops at 5.6 so little difficult to achieve the desired results.

@VCheng Brother guide me if nikon d7000 is a good option to go for a beginner or you have any other suggestion? i will prefer used dslr as i dont have a budget of 40-45k

canon is equally good. check at nikon pakistan and canon pakistan website for prices accordingly. if you are in pindi u can check from karachi camera store online

Just about any DSLR is good enough these days to get a start in this hobby. Both Nikon and Canon as good choices. The D7000 is a great camera, as are the equivalent Canon models. If you are buying used, go for the best condition and accessories package rather than the make or model of the camera, for now, as you can upgrade easily later as you develop your skills.

brother d7000 is a bit old model however a very capable camera. specially since it used to be flagship of APS C Nikon range. biggest advantage of d7000 is that you can use older lens with it and it will still focus with them since it has built in motor. however finding a clean less used d7000 is a rare chance. what is your budget at the moment. you can decide accordingly.i always recommend new electronics considering the implications of a used repaired device.
