Camping at Saif ul Malook

Hi guys
Can u guide if its allowed and safe to put a tent at Saif ul Malook lake? What about food stuff and washroom facilities as well?

I don't think it's safe to camp there. On my visit, the driver told us that late at night fox are usually found roaming and who knows may be bears as well.

30th june to 2nd july, 2018.......There is a hotel at begining, asked us for 1000 per night with our own tent in their lawn, otherwise the army do not allow to camp around the lake....2 years back my friends camped there , but didnt seen any fox or bears, but they really hit by an unexpected thunderstorm late night....

Did u remember the name of hotel, also any such sites in hunza?

We asked there for and peoples told us by pointing at that hotel. Didnt seen the name...but it is the very first hotel when you reached the saifulmalook...they charge 4 thousnd for double bed room and 1000 for camp in there lawn, id cards are must to have...
