The Tourism Department Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the first time ever launch ? A Camping Paradise? a concept where general public specifically youth can enjoy the adventure tourism in beautiful and majestic territories of the province. As it is known fact that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is richly gifted with scenic valleys, high attitude mountains, and difficult but adventurous terrains, therefore, Tourism Department intends to promote this adventure tourism among youth and provide them an easy way out of radicalized and extremist environment.
The main objective behind this project is to establish a ?Camping Village? at selected places where tourists enjoy their time in camping pods and/ or camping tents. These villages will also have a common kitchen for cooking etc where people prepare their own food. Moreover additional tourist equipment will also be provided on minimum amount for trekking, fishing, camping at high attitude etc. Moreover academia especially young research scholars can carry out research activities on the flora, fauna and local habitat. Camping Pods are similar to camping tents but built specifically with sustainable material and are very well insulated with allied benefits of heating, electricity and washrooms etc. The main idea behind the project is to allow public to bring everything for camping except the tent and enjoy relaxing on the pods.
