Camshaft Position Sensor Corolla

Got a check engine light on my Corolla 2012 Altis 1.6 yesterday. Immediately scanned the vehicle from a nearby auto workshop and it showed me a p0335-Crankshaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit. Which means that my sensor is faulty. Will clean It first and check it out. If that does not work, where can I get a brand new sensor for the 1ZR-FE. Tried a few Toyota but they don't have them.
Any leads where I might be able to acquire one? preferably brand new.

only way to get brand new cam sensor for the 1zr here is to import one

you can get a used part though.

anyone here knows a capable mechanic in Karachi who might be able to diagnose the sensor for me? This particular sensor requires a multimeter or digimeter to be tested, anyone here knows a mechanic in Karachi who might have the said instrument?

you can try Irshad ahmed at shahrae quaideen,0300 223 7538. if toyota pakistan is selling that under a part number you may get a new one at 5 digit price, or he may source few used ones from scrapyard and charge for the 1 which resolves the issue.

yes I have contacted him and will be paying a visit soon. Have got work done from him a few times and have been satisfied except for the price he charges.

Unfortunately, Toyota Pakistan is not selling it so I will have to go for a used one.
