Just like the title says, can anyone here help/guide with property inheritance procedure of CDA (Islamabad)?

The house needs to be transferred from my grandfather's (deceased) name to my father who is the only child. No one else claiming share. Need someone to guide on how to go about doing this procedure smoothly.

If anyone working in CDA or experienced with this procedure can guide, I'd be very grateful.

I can guide a bit.

• obtain death certificate from nadra for your grandfather
• obtain family registration certificate from nadra for your grandfather
• prepare list of moveable & immoveable assets / property / bank account etc under the name of deceased
• the heir shall submit above documents in court with request for transfer to his name as sole heir
• the court will advertise it in the newspaper notifying public for any claimants to step forward., after 90 days of no-claims court will issue an administrative order to respective offices to transfer the listed assets / accounts to the heir's name.

you shall be careful to prepare list of all items registered under the name of deceased. Once the courts issues the order and there is an item left out of list whole procedure needs to be followed again.

the most important thing which needs the highest of attention on priority.
the assets left behind by the deceased shall be used 1st - to pay-off for his all qaza namaz, roza, zakat, and debts. disbursement to heirs shall be the last point of agenda under heir ship distribution. please consult the qualified alim-deen of some darul uloom of your respective school of faith in this regard.
