I don't know the current condition of the road but back in 2004 we took a Toyota coaster to shogran. How can it be tough for a civic then.

Please anyone share the road condition!

No issue at all. If u already have some driving skill and experience in hilly area esp ascent and descent, u can easily take the car to Shogran. And no issue of touching from underneath etc. Road is not good, but still satisfactory enough. And it is just 7km from Kawai to Shogran.

i took my civic up there with 6 people on board and it climbed like a champ , however this was 3 years ago, when road was okish.

i came back last month and the road is pretty much in a bad condition right now, and taking the car will be torture for it.

its better to hire a jeep from kiwai, u will be charged only 1000 rupees extra, from shogran ull still be hiring a jeep anyway to visit siri paye.

Better hire a jeep from Kiwai till paya. Car can go but it'll be bruised badly from underbody.

Road is not good but no problem for cars. Mehran and bolan seen in the video.

I with my friend jogged down to kiwai and reached before the coaster. The road was beautiful back then.

Yup this car can easily go almost every where but the height of this cAr is not appropriate wrt broken roads. It might hit the gound nd hence it would b mental torture for u nd physical torture for car.

condition of road is better than Kalam road but very steep.........

I went to Shogran on my 660 CC Mitsubishi EK wagon Automatic before Ramadhan. Road was above average below excellent means it was good for a mountain to climb. It is only 7 KM from Kiwai. While ascending take you car on 2nd gear with shifting from 1st and 2nd so that gear box don't take pressure. While descending take back your car on 1st gear only with no breaks at all except on extreme conditions. I would recommend to stop in half way to give your car breather. for 15 to 20 minutes. Rest ....... Allah he naaaa ........

Just came back last week...yes, Civics can reach Shogran though you need to be careful at one or two places and probably traverse it at an angle to avoid front bumper from hitting.
