Can I go Hunza via Babusar Pass Chillas on WagonR 1000 CC

Please let me know if WagonR 1000 CC can go Hunza via Babusar pass Chillas route for both sides? Also suggest if anyone have seen 1000 CC cars going there.

When are you planning to go dear?
Right now as per my knowledge Babusar Top and even Naran road is closed due glaciers etc on the way (only jeep can go if I am not wrong)
As far as car is concern it can go easily if the driver knows how to drive + the engine is in sound condition.
Along with that any car with good engine power can go till Khunjerab Pass but the issue here is not about if the car can go or not, its about the opening of Babusar Pass which will open for traffic somewhere around may as per my limited knowledge.

Got you. Plan is some time after june. My concern is about the possiblity with 1+3 passengers with stock tyres. Car height could be an issue or not? I have travelled via Bisham Dasu side in Corolla.

Last time when I travelled to Lalusar Lake from Naran, Road condition was not good and I used Jeep. Do you think WagonR can go through all those conditions.

Well in my opinion the stock size of WagonR are too thin and this kind of travel with such tyres is a bit risky but that doesn't mean its not possible, talking about height it wouldn't be an issue just drive carefully through waterfalls and in uphill and downhill drive in lower gears and without clutch (only use when required using too much clutch will burn ur clutch plates.
As u r going in june than babusar will be opened for sure IA.

3-4 top side road was moderately rough two years ago otherwise its an easy trip to babusar top on a 1000 cc, have seen wagon R there, but right now its closed due to snowfalls, do check from news before you leave.

I've seen 660cc cars going there man. Should be no problem for a WagonR

Last year in August I visited khunjrab pass on wagonr 1000cc with 4 people in car.never faced any issue..

You can go beyond hunza on wagon R. Seen many 660cc in hunza. Go with full confidence.

i have visited my Lovely Wagon R last month Hunza via KKh which is very pathatic route now a days but wagon r give an excellent results on all the way.

Yes of course you can go easily but tyre, break leather, and obviously engine should perfect. Read Haroon bhai thread who done I think thrice

I have done a trip from naran to gilgit via babusar pass on pk wagon r and i also made a thread on this forum you can check for reference. Overall wagon r is a good car there was no incident where I felt lack of power. Make sure you use engine braking principal while going downhill. While going uphill please keep momentum of car and avoid braking.

I went on my Suzuki Cultus Limited Edition, from Larkana to Khunjerab Pass via Babusar Top, this means yes WagonR can go as well, before leaving make sure to get your vehicle inspected from Suzuki Authorized Dealer as it will allow you to drive worry-free. Please also note that Basar Top remains closed till mid of June, so better to go in the end of June or later, I went in first week of October 2017 while we reached there on Babusar Top, the first snowfall of the season just started but it was very little which did not created any problem, we crossed Babusar top again after 4 days and it was freezing temperature, but no issue for travel/drive.
