Dude, just don't pass on turns. Don't rely on other people's judgement for your own life. And don't do blind passes anywhere. Pay close attention to what other drivers are communicating to you. I often signal with my LH turn signal for oncoming traffic that cars behind me can't see around a corner. I also give a green signal using my RH blinker. But use your own head and don't put your's and other's life in danger. Don't cross lines. Give way to the oncoming traffic travelling along the edge. And for the love of sanity, Do Not use high-beams at night to blind people along an otherwise unmarked road. Use high-beams across corners to indicate your presence. Have spent close to 50,000kms along these terrains.
Lastly, don't block faugi convoys/vehicles. We are well-versed on these roads and it maybe an RMB unit responding to a hazardous situation ahead on KKH.
Other than that, your LC200 will do just fine. Get proper tire pressures and fasten your seatbelts. Put your children in safe spots and fasten them. Do not let them hang outside through sunroof. My 120 has a fist-size dent from a rock that fell out of nowhere.
I can go on and on. Just be safe. Worried as you sound like you've never taken a vehicle over a sidewalk. But you learn through first-hand experience and it doesn't have to be a mistake.
Lastly, as we say to our soldiers: "Your first mistake can very well be your last mistake on these roads. People that went down were never found. In most cases, we found a differential, maybe a spare tire. That's all."
