Can I install CB 70 in Charade 86?

Hi All,

Can I install GTI CB 70 in 86 Charade? The current engine is CB 23 and Its on CNG I am not sure if I can run CNG on CB 70 and also if i have to do alteration to fit this engine.

WHy not a 1.6 or 1.3 Toyotaa enginee .. ??? woulddd work gr8 on CNG and Woulddd Provideeee niceeee Power/weight ratio .. if u install 1.6 Ur car would Fly ..

Actually I want a setup with Minimum or no alterations at all and I was thinking about CB 70 its just 1.0l i am not sure how economical it is but how bad can a 1.0l be

1.1st thing where u will find cb70?
2.CNG cannot be fitted to CB70,80(it gives good mileage on petrol if u drive at 2-3k rpm)
3.ur model is 86 not 88 so u have to do alterations
born_2b_wild is rite...if u want speed with CNG ....go for 4EFE.

Not sure how good 4EFE will be for charade but anyone tried that? and that will require a lot of alterations hmm.

yeahh many peoplee havee even tried 4afe/age ... there is one charade in islamabaad Round shape with H22 .. u should Try It !! Many people would Tell u that it would disturb itss resale but u know well that itsss resale isnt that Much Anyway ... am also Swapping My hyundai's engine .. best of LUCKKK

Yeah try 4efe .....Alterations will be same as for cb70,80 + maintenance and parts of Cb-70 is main prob....but Cb70 is one hell of a engine.

GEt 4EFE swapped or for serious power....
4EFTE....!!
4EFTE is much better than CB-70/CB-80.....!

^^ i think getting a forced inducted motor Cnged would not be a Good thing to do ... as far as i think he is intrested in getting the engine cnged so 4efe would be the Best !!

first of all there isnt any Cb80/cb70 left, either they are overhauled or they are KHATAM, u would be lucky if u find one on standard condition. and u have 86, theres a lot of differance in engine bay of a 86 and 88 charade, Cb80 cnt be swaped into 86 that easily as it has lots of wire and very different strong mount and suspension.
