I bought a 2018 Corolla Altis 1.6 with 67K Kms on the odometer. This car had always been serviced timely from a Toyota dealership. However, since day one, the dealership poured Toyota Petron 20w-50 oil in it and previous owner didn't mind it either.
The car feels heavy and the fuel consumption isn't great either. Barely gives 15kmpl at 110km/h on motorways and 11.5 in city with a light foot. I want to switch back to 5w-30 fully synthetic oil for better mileage but am skeptical about it.
The reading on odo is 75K now. Would you please guide if switching to 5w-30 is fine at this point?
