Can i use owners manual recommended engine oil for Toyota Passo 2011 model i.e 0W20 here in Islamabad? Confused about temperature factor.
Yes you can use it but it's too thin & availability is an issue. Zic 5w-20 is easily available but average oil. Better brands are liqui moly, total ,mobi 1, shell & volvaline. 5w-20 or 5w-30 is safe bet then 0w-20.
Also kindly mention your car total mileage.
Keeping in view your model year and climate, 5w30 will cater your needs best in my humble opinion.
You can use Zic 0w-30 also.
0W20 can be used if available else go for 0W30 or 5W30

Mostly jdm cars have tampered meters so 0w20 is risk.You can use shell 5w-30 which is semi synthetic & cheap option so change interval is 5000km with good quality oil filter.
Total & liqui moly 5w-30 are best both fully synthetic can last 8-10000km with original filters.
