Aoa I have a 80 series land cruiser 1996, i want to put 1uz or 2uz instead of 1fz which drinks alot of gas and doesnt give me the satisfaction of a v8 so i thought i would be better off with a v8, so i am thinking of putting a 1uz in my lc80 and i want to know that will it work with my 1fz auto gearbox 4 speed auto or will i need to buy the whole gearbox and engine seperately or will i just need to get a 1uz or a 2uz from a cheap shop, because if it is i will just bolt on engine with transmission and call it a day otherwise i wont be doing the swap, kindly let me know about both 1 uz and 2uz if it will work with my current gearbox as honestly i dont have money to spend on another gearbox.
