Can someone assess the estimated mileage based on brake pad usage?

Bought Altis 1.6 2018 AT with 23K mileage. And at 25K Toyoa mentioned to change brake pads. Which shocked me and created doubt that may be the meter is altered.. can someone asses the KM driven based on usage of brake pads.

The car is driven within urban, where frequently brakes are applied; still I think that 23K KM is too low for changing break pads; any estimation based on experience that Altis AT brake pads are changed between a KM range XX - XX KM's.

I dont think anyone can give that estimation, e.g. if the car was driven like its on race tracks then the brakes will wear very early - or if a caliper was dragging - that brake would be worn out too.

However I have seen a range between 20K to 60K kms - it depended on the usage.

Dealerships are habitual of changing the serviceable parts “preventive maintenance” take a second opinion before changing these pads.

2016 altis 1.6 owner here. Brake pads are usually Change on 40k KMs but as our guruji @Xulfiqar explained it totally depends on driving style. I’ve seen 10-15k KMs vehicle rolling in the shop for brake pad issue.

I bought corolla altis 1.6 80,000 driven. And I changed the brake pads last month. They were almost 5% or less then that left.
