Can Suzuki GR 150 be replaced with GS 150 SE?

Can Suzuki GR 150 be replaced with GS 150 SE as GS has proven itself on every area like, Steep, off roading etc. Apart from price, please suggest. Should I buy GR or GS?

It is not only about myself but I am asking in general.

Suzuki considers Pakistani bikers are fool & Brother buying GR150 is proving yourself fool.
This is very good motorcycle, but it should have priced lower than CB150F which in my view offers better features. But 219k is an joke price tag for this motorcycle. I think bike deserves the same treatment which i salute car owners gave to Suzuki Kizashi launched in 50lakh by Paksuzuki. Not a single unit was sold

I do agree with you on Price issue of GR. But that's not what I am asking. I want to know whether GR is better or equivalent to its former GS 150 SE in terms of performance.

Better obviously brother in looks & performance as well with new engine, No riding experience but in youtube reviews owners are appraising its smoothness & performance. And shape wise this is compact motorcycle good for those who don't want sporty tanks & prefer simple motorcycles. One thing is quite strange in specs GR150 is quite heavier than CB150f. CB 124kg & GR 133kg

Yes, weight is too much. I have heard saying people that GR is under power though I am unable understand what actually mean by under power.

Get a free test ride of both bike's at Suzuki showroom and decide your self..
Regarding that underpowered thing you can check that with some heavy load on it on slopes. In GR150 the HP is lesser than GS150 but the torque number's are a bit better than GS150 on paper.

@hassantahir2 This is what actually confusing me. For example, on paper, GS 150 is 150CC but in actuall, it is 145CCs while GR is 15CC on paper and in actual.

In actual GR 150 is 149 CCs.
What i have heard from the owner's the fuel average is not that good in GR 150 due to old slide type Carburetor.

@hassantahir2 How does Carburetor effects fuel average? Isn't it Stroke that effects fuel economy? Because Stroke of GR 150 is higher than GS 150 SE, hence requiring more fuel. Having large stroke gives more power, right? Please correct me.

Both thing's will effect the fuel average..
But it's a fact that butterfly(CV) Carburetor's are more efficient..

Bro i have got test ride of GR150 but its pick up+shoot is low than GS150

Currently i am using GS150 previously if you have used GS150 you will not like GR & for weight comparison between GS & GR i think for extra weight in GR are its alloy rims

For GR price there is a post in this forum who was getting this bike in 180k i think suzuki company has added installment mark up in its price that,s why suzuki bikes are available on zero % mark up

@hamikhan I had test ride of GR. It is far more smooth. Its engine is designed according to its weight. Weight is not an issue. Yes price is high and its the downside of this bike. I have recently bought GS 150 SE and you know what, show room was having no GR and Manager said, all units are sold out. I sense It is only matter of time that GR will prove itself.

Bro i have seen only one unit of GR on every suzuki showroom not more than this shopkeeper use different techniques to fool customer they will show to everyone there is a HUGE demand for GR in all over pakistan

I recently bought this Bike. Its price has been revised. New price is 195k + 8k Registration. Its an awesome smooth bike. 110%.
No No No comparison with GS. It has totally different smooth and BETTER riding experience.
I have ridden all Pakistani bikes and this is the best of all.
Go and ask any shop at Akbar road Cb 150f is better or GR150 ! They all will answer GR150
195k is still a little high price but I am willing to pay that 15-20k extra money for the smoothness this bike provides.

That's great. Suzuki should reduce this price upto 180K. I just left this bike due to price. I had test ride of it is awesome. Congrats for your GR. Enjoy the ride.

Well, I have just taken the test ride at a suzuki show room. I must say that it is exceptionally smooth ride. Power is good, like with pillion riding, I reached 60 effortlessly, and except the fact that the person sitting behind me was imbalanced, I didn't feel any extra weight. As of now I have ridden GR 150, CB 150, YBR, GS 150. Based on my preferences I rate GR at 1 (rear brake is not all that good, but it is new may be need to set in), YBR 2, CB 150 at 3. Reason for CB 150 at 3 is that its not that comfortable, it feels like bike is putting in something extra effort during acceleration, brakes (including disk) is not as good as other two.

Next is Derbi, but I doubt that anyone is offering a test drive. Just to sum up, don't believe what others say. see the bike, ride it and then decide it yourself. Test ride is available for everyone so open invitation to make up your own mind.

I may share my experience
while moving to Tolpir, Yamaha G with pillion rider was struggling at some peaks while GS 150 was good. So do you suggest Yamaha 125 Z Over GS 150/SE

Well can't comment on YBR G as haven't ridden it. As far as GS goes, it shouldn't have any issue

YBZ is not meant to be a Touring bike though it can go. But I will prefer GS over YBZ
