Can we import Salvage Cars To Pakistan?

Hi Guys,

I want to import a 2008 Porsche BOXSTER which is basically a fully damaged + salvaged car and someone bought it from salvage auction, have all the documents.

Question is, how much would be the duty? Would it be on Actual Cash Value? Actual Auction sale value? Since car isn't in working condition, its salvage. What would be the custom duty? Is it eligible for an import?

P.s: its just a body, without engine.

What you thinking, Customs already thought about it! if you wish to register as a car, it will be imported as normal car and all duties and taxes will be applied. and no car more than 3 years will be allowed to import so 2008 is simple NO!

or it can be imported as junk/ used spare parts in that case it can never be registered as a car! allowed if its cut in half!

The parts removed would be valuable for resale. Need to evaluate the landed cost before import and existing custom tariff.
