Can we put all cars parts of a new model in shell of an old model

Hi,

I do like the shapes of old cars. I want to ask that how feasible is it to buy a new model car and then add all the interior parts like engine, dashboard etc of the new model to the old shell. Is it a viable option? Does it require a very experienced mechanic. Approximately how much will it cost to do just the transfer assuming that I have both cars with me.
For this post, we can assume a old civic of 98 and 2012 is the new one.

PS: Also, how feasible is to transfer the parts from a different brand i.e. Aqua, Viesel etc

Well i find the new interior better. Is there any particular reason this is not possible??

Because new dashboard is of different design to fit into into another type of design made for another dashboard.Better to buy new model car

Agreed.
interior should match the rest of the car.
for example if you look at old 80's cars which use to have straight lines on the body. there interior have those lines as well, not curvy or rounded like new models.

you need the size to fit.

new model civic is broader then the old one. the dash simply wont fit.

some experiments that have been successful are swapping the mehran dash with a local alto (old model) dash. with minor mods.
