I said the whole process takes up to a year from unconditional admissions, meeting the requirements, preparing the documents to getting the visa. In most provinces the process will take less time. In Quebec it'll take longer. This is the amount of time Canadian universities suggest from start - finish.
Anyway what is your question? There is no secret way to make your application stronger. Just fill in all the forms honestly and you'll be fine. Prove you have assets in Pakistan, prove you'll move back to Pakistan and prove that you can support yourself in Canada. The rest is all your background check and wether the visa officer likes you.
My personal opinion is that the UK is the worst atmosphere unless you can get into a top university. Pakistanis have done horrible things there to deserve a horrible reputation. Canada is good if you dont care about the weather and mixing in with the local community but it's getting harder to get in. Australia is the best place for a young Pakistani. The Pakistani community in Australia is well settled and they are liked (for the most part). Australia is also the close to home and the easieest.
