I think the system is slugging or the compressor has a variable intake valve in it that is causing such reading. what model compressor is it again?

Thanks for the reply. According to my information there comes two variants of compressors in accord. One is Denso and other one is KEIHIN. Mine is second one. Looks like this. I also think that this may be not the orignal one that came with it because i see joint in pipe which is welded. Other than that i have seen many accords all have DENSO compressor not this one

This is what I am seeing at 1500 rpm and 37 degrees c

After vacuum i pulled i forgot to purge the filling yellow pipe so that air was removed from it. Do you think that can cause this problem and i see high side needle vibrate, could it be air?

Your Low Side......Shows Something Is Def Wrong....As Per High Side It SHould Be Around 40-45...Also your High Side Is Going Up Too High...It SHould Stabilize Around 260-270 Maxx

I refilled the gas so that it reaches 300 at 1500 RPM. You are rite at this high side according to charge low side be between 50-55. But no matter how much gas i filled this remained the same. Also one thing that these readings are with max load on evap, doors open and blower to full.

@syncview TXV is brand new one. DENSO. Pipes were cleaned by CTC. They had no restrictions. What do you guys think of evaporator. It also allowed free flow of air when i blew with mouth.

But the fills done by our mechs are not even vaccumed. I am sure there is alot more air in those systems than you would have in ur system but still those poorly filled system doesn't always show these symptoms you are having.

That i think would rule out any doubts about the problems that small tiny air pocket can cause.

I Guess If That Whole Pipe Was Filled With Atmosphere And All Of It In Form Of AIR Goes Into System THEM U Can Expect Anything.....It Will Work Fine But Not As Per Expectation

My Advice Now Is To Use It SOmehow If Its Bearable ...Let The Weather Calm A Bit And Get Time And Then Inspect....It Can Also Be Your Compressor..Or Air Moisture......

Yep thinking same. Do you think its worth the shot to evacuate by good pump and then add gas from CAN according to weight and stick to what ever performance it gives.

Also @xulfiqar should we see any activity at sight glass? i dont see any

those pressures are a good sign of some restriction in the system
im sure if you Rev it the suction goes down to 10 or near with the discharge hitting 350+
if the liquid line is all hot from the condenser to the evaporator, it's probably fine. in that case the restriction is inside the evaporator which is most likely the txv.

On R134a...Its Useless To Use Sight Glass ANyways....but it can tell abt moisture content in system....u will see bubbles or something moving around

Liquid line is not hot. It's just warm. Nothing more. Thing is I am not able to find the culprit. I don't whant to open system until I am a bit sure . Condenser is new and high side leaving the condenser is not hot even at condenser. the fans pull great deal of air through condenser. One can feel from front side if you put your hand there

The one thing i was thinking, Old compressor (although was weak) also had same symptoms. I replaced everything now except lines and evaporator. What are the chances that these two may be the culprits?

When i flushed the system my evaporator had alot of greysh oil that are probably metal debris.

The one thing i was thinking, Old compressor (although was weak) also had same symptoms. I replaced everything now except lines and evaporator. What are the chances that these two may be the culprits?

When i flushed the system my evaporator had alot of greysh oil that are probably metal debris.

if you disconnect the fans how high does the head pressure go?

by hot i meant it would be around 40 to 60 degrees Celsius

if there was black debris in the system - the sight glass will have to be removed and then cleaned

May be that greyish sludge has again accumulated in evap. and this is happening again
