My santro having toyota duet compressor and new condensor gives excellent cooling, the only problem is when the car is at signal the cooling decreases. The radiator and its fan is kabli 660cc car's. radiator is in very good condition but fan is I think not enough for the condensor. Should I change the fan? To which one if changing is required.

Make sure fan size is appropriate and radiator and condenser clearance gap should not be more than 20mm in any case.
Also check refrigerant pressure accoridng to ambient temp. with pressure guages and see if system is over charged or under charged.

You see that PT chart i have attached in my previous post at the end it says if Low and high side pressures are high with recpect to the figures given in chart then i should release the pressure. I had same high pressure situation but still i have to add the refrigerant to make the system work.
What is that about? Reason for that?

It Can Be Due To Many Reason Not Just Excess Refrigerant...

It Can Be Due To Air Present In System.........High Ambient ..Any Pressure Line Blockage .....Maybe Your Condenser Is Overheating Too

Attaching Low And High Side Gauges And Running System Will Tell You Actual Story....Gauges Reading Are Not Always Helpful In Diagnosis...

If You Face Issue AGain....I Advice To Evacuate System Completely .....Check Thoroughly...For Blockages ..Flush System And Then Properly Charged System

In Your Case It Can Be Air In System ...Overheated COndensor Or Anything Else

Well, just to talk of AC diagnosis. Last day when i was at my mechanic i saw him using black rubber O-rings in condenser whereas i read on an AC system file provided by Afnan.Bashir in one of his threads that r134a system takes green o-rings and these black o-rings are specifically for r-12 systems and should never be used in r134a - i don't technical reason behind this by the way may be @xulfiqar bhai can shed some light on that - thats how our jugarri mechs mess with the car systems...

O rings for R134a are H NBR type, I have personally come across 3 colours of them, blue, green and black. The most common items are green the black and blue ones were usually a factory install.

Buy a set of correct O rings for your car, install with oil on them. Do not let the mechanic use his dirty fingers to slather oil, Get a little dropper type plastic bottle and apply clean oil with that.

By oil you mean Compressor oil right?
I have read that we should hold the o-ring with clips and dip them in oil and install them carefully. That sounds good, right?

Those orings i saw were local orings like rubber rings we get locally. I don't think they were anything near some H NBR type lol.

Bhai can you recommend any good literature about Auto AC to read about on the internet or you personally have any of it and can share as a recomended read...

2500 le ring he ring ajayen gey lol to customer kia pay kre ga AC technician ko. People in Pakistan would prefer new service every season than paying such an amount only for rings lol
