Car around 11 lacs, Swift 2012-2014 or city2009-2010?

This is my first post here so kindly ignore if I don't follow any convention actually I am about to buy a used car and my budget is around 11 lacs and I am confused between above mentioned two cars so kindly suggest according to following criteria
Good fuel avg
Easy and cheap maintenance
Good resale

Fuel Average taqreeban same Hai dono ki. Resale City ki buhat behtar Hai. Maintenance is same for both however spares for city are relatively cheaper. Baaqi it depends on your preference.
Main problem will be finding a clean City in 11 lacs. If you find one, I'll suggest you to go for it.

Go for a 1000cc 2016-17 old shape cultus, there is no car as reliable in this budget range.

Suzuki swift is nice but there is zero boot space, fuel efficiency is poor and doesn’t have any resale.

City 2009 if in good condition, will be atleast 13lacs, and will need another 1.5-2lacs within first two years of ownership. Main expenses will be tyres (50k) Suspension (20-35k) brake rotors and discs (20-40k) add some body work, cleaning/detailing etc.

Buy the car only if well maintained otherwise newer the better.

Another good option is belta or vitz 2009

FAW V2 lelain dono se behtat hai
Mileage City jitna hi degi lekin strong body or safety features main behtareen hai city or swift say.
Jahan tak resale ki baat hai to koi ferq nahi parega q k ap second owner hongay or agay jo bhi gari bechengay daam kam hi milega !

Faw v2 is also a good option but what about it's maintenance and parts availability?

City is far better choice then swift overall in every aspect.

As suggested by other members, you won't find a trouble free 2009-10 City in 11 lacs. Since you recently sold Cultus and want to experience some change then i would suggest you to go for Swift 2012, Faw V2 or Vitz 2nd generation. Ride of Swift is very comfortable and this car is purely meant for highway where you'll be getting 16-17 kmpl with AC easily. I have no experience of driving V2 other than that i drove it for a test drive only so i cannot comment much about it. Only downside with Swift is its less boot space and it doesn't disappoint you in any other aspect. You can go for vitz if you need an automatic car. Boot & cabin space of vitz is very good.

Thanks for your suggestions less boot space would not be a big problem for me so I think I should go for a swift

Actually I have asked actual owners and they say that it's around 10 other than that I haven't heard of any other issue with swift

Yes, because i have seen most swift people complain about insufficient rear leg room and poor mileage.

Sir i have swift 2012. I have already mentioned about its poor boot space. Yes rear space is also less. You are right about mileage issues of swift. But that's only in city driving. For highways it's not bad. I have travelled frequently between Hyderabad and Gujrat on swift and it gives me 16-17 kmpl with AC.
