Why would you throw away the clay bar just after using it one time? A clay kit i.e 2 clay bars are good for 4-6 cars depending on how contaminated they are..

i had one clay bar,i made 4 pieces of it,n only1 was enough for whole car but i didnt kept that after that....so if i can keep that clay after using,i should keep it same way as i am keeping others,that is,in air tight bottle?

I recently had to get around 40% of my BM's hood repainted due to a jerk spilling some acid on it. The paint is original BMW but has orange peel, only visible to a keen observer. I want to sand it down and polish it.

The query is, I want some polish suggestions, professional grade stuff and some pad suggestions to go on a rotary polisher. Peel ain't much, just like the regular type on a local honda car. So I guess 2k grit will be doing a fine job for me.

Want suggestions please.

Reason of orange peel is obviously the "not so good" body shops here, the finish can't be the same as OEM BMW.
