That white smudge is a waterspot; wash the car and if it doesn't go away, clay that portion. If the white dots feel like little bumps then they are contaminants which clay will remove; if they don't feel like bumps then the paint may have gone in this area. Is this visible in other parts (doors, fenders etc) ?
The scuff marks maybe from dry dusting, cleaning the car with a cheap cloth, dirty microfibers/washmitt used etc. Does anyone clean the car besides you?
Use the clay and store it in an airtight bag and spray some detailer to prevent it sticking.
Those scratches on the trunk are probably due to putting stuff on it like shopping bags, suitcase, bottles etc. Even my civic has light scratches on the trunk.
On a side note, do you have any idea how many times those panels have been compounded? Does your car show signs of paint thinning i.e white primer showing up in curves or creases? I don't know why i get the feeling that the hood is duller than the rest of the car.....maybe pics are misguiding me?
Just so you know horizontal panels(hood, roof, trunk) face most wear and tear as they have more exposure to sun etc. So they may show imperfections before the rest of the car.....thus need a bit extra care....
