Had a session with 3M performance finish a few weeks ago:

and after a week or so it rained.

Followed it up with a wash with Turtle ice shampoo and 3M quick wax as a drying agent.

Not sure if this is the correct thread for this post but being a follower of this thread, I am sure someone can help and suggest some solutions.
Its a suzuki alto 2012 model. Found this on by cars front wind shield. Around 6 inch long crack, its not very deep but easily visible. Not sure how it happened, probably someone threw a stone while it was parked outside the house.
Can anyone suggest what should be done about it. Any way to repair it? Or windscreen has to be changed? If yes, any idea how much it will cost?

Bro the only best option is to replace it. In plaza i think the original one will be around 10k-12k. There are also chinese one which is of worst quality they will soon become blurred means they will soon get soo much scratches during cleaning. But the quality between both of these is also available of around 5-7k known as local and sometimes taiwanese. But if you cannot feel this cracks except at the main centre of it then there is no harm means no need to hurry wait for elections then change it after it as our city condition is not that good. My relatives also had a some similiar situation and they used thier car i think around 6 months and was not faced any problem even in raining season. But the cars was one was corolla and other was coure.

Note: i shared the price of windshield according to the known price of coure's windshield. Cannot tell the exact price.

cleaned off dust with wet mf
took some on pad,applied n buffed instantly which was quite strange for me since it dont requires hazing,so i tested water beads n this was the result,i am still confused though how much to apply since wax is only a drop or 2 required for panel
there was alot of dirt in air or pollen,dont know what was it,wasnt even getting clean so just did trunk n a little roof,though i applied lots of pressure while applying 3m,do we need to do that or not?

you dont have to apply pressure while waxing.
just a little pressure is required.i think 2,3 drops are enough for one small panel.for large may be 4.5.

Prior residue on the pad will affect your application, so clean it up.
2-3 pea sized drops of PF, lightly dab on different areas of the panels (so that some of the product gets attached to the panel) and spread thinly. It does keep you confused whether it applied to a certain area or not. Just watch from a certain angle (depending on lighting) and you'll be able to tell where you applied it. Apply more when you feel it isn't spreading anymore.

all of them are washed with surf
what is dish wash detergent?
u mean lemon max bar with which dishes are washed?
i dont have any product for interior
as i said i just use that normal yellow cloth to clean off the dust

Yup its normal.
By dish wash i meant lemon max liquid one. Use a table spoon in a few liters of warm to hot water for heavy cleaning. For normal cleaning just use a teaspoon. But dont use too much as its strong.

For interior i have used tw ice interior care. It has mild cleaning and good protection.

replace it with new, last month i replaced this @rs4500 orginal one while lower categories also available

Thanks, I called Suzuki Defence Motors and they told that original one is for 5K plus 1500 service charges. I am now wondering if it can be covered by insurance??
