Usman Bhai....... There is a material known as "Berger Autoshield" which can be used for undercoating. I have used this material on my old car and it looks good to me. The price is also reasonable. It should be available on most car paint shops but some shops don't keep it as the demand is less. You can check it out on my ride if you want

Lets work on the base a bit eh ? Give it a slight cut to take out the dullness, try a good polish.....an build on that base. From the near Matt surface you posted for the first time to this, nice work!

i agree with v1 ur car need light cut with polishing than sealant or wax
without electric polisher u have limited possibilities like meguiar ultimate compound and than meguiar ultimate polish , though best results comes with electrical polisher but these otc products still can be use by hands but price wise this combo will cost u more
u can source these products from optimum motor sports karachi

another price effective option
3m extra light compound comes in 1 liter big bottle ( google 3m karachi contact details ) price roughly rs 2k to 2.2k but this product have to use by rotery polisher ( i used this one on one of friend surf having dull and full oxidation skin and u can see results on page #1 and 2 on this thread )

first use cutting pad on rotery with this product and than follow up same product with polishing pad and seal the surface with any wax or sealant

rotery need little experince to handle and if u dont have that experince than better consult any expert or try least aggrecive products like megs ultimate polish

3m polishing pad glaze or 3m glaze ( step 3) good least aggresive products but both are proffesional range products and recommanded rotery polisher for best results

clay work of last week

while applying wax from top to bottom it feels like only edge of wax is being applying while coming down as u can see in the pic from middle,u cant see wax applied where as i covered whole bonnet with over lapping circles so on the doors i applied pad softly on 2 ends n then waxed,even on roof it feels same like bonnet,i tried both ways with n without pressure

the rubber on edge of windshield facing towards the roof made clay quite dirty while i was applying clay there,so i guess dirt stays there even after the shampoo

the circle on the left showing the edge of that plastic,its downside made the water magnet dirty,i just wipe the wash mit on it,maybe this was one of the reason for making them dirty
right side shows the area which i was telling about that made the clay bar dirty

wax application on trunk,though i applied pad on both ends softly to put dot of wax n then waxed still it feels like a little that wax got light here,for rest of the areas,i just applied wax without seeing if its getting applied normally or just light circles just showing the edges[/I]

this whole area or the highlighted area also made bar little dirty with black light lines

white dots on the bonnet left even after the claying

dots can be seen here as well,look at the visible white dot at lower mid,it can felt with nail,feels like if maybe paint is gone from here

paint near sun roof,the right circle area isnt torn yet,its just a line scratch type,but the left one feels like lifted up

The importer is Autoline at Sunny plaza, Montgomery road, Lahore.
The other shop buys from importers; its near my home so i go there sometimes but they have old stock and prices are a bit higher. Their name is D-lux on m.m alam road.

I think you need to apply a little pressure while waxing even with a pure wax because the applicator pad can also remove the wax you applied; maybe because the pad itself has less wax in it. When you are waxing see which part of pad touches the car; that part should have wax on it.

The rubber lining on the roof, door trim, indicator light edges etc get filled up with salts from water, wax residue, dirt. Those parts always makes my drying towel dirty when i wash. Don't use a toothbrush to remove it; it will definitively cause scratches. If you have an APC and a detailing brush that might do the trick. Or you can use pressure with wash mitt and rub those areas lightly.

Yaar in our dusty climate you have to be extra careful before waxing. I noticed that dust would start settling seconds after i wipe my car dry. So before applying wax do a slightly damp mf wipe with light pressure in back and forth motion and then wax.

Your viper water sprayer also has water spots around it which means you should do a more thorough wash and rub those areas which have spots, stains etc with washing mitt. Read the instructions and use the right amount of car wash per X liters of water. The correctly diluted wash solution would have enough lubrication so as not to scratch/cause swirls while washing.

CHOI Bara he acha kaam kia hai par yeh bata yeh zaang q lagi howi hai....ORRR yeh chocollate bara acha lag raha hai konsa hai......

thankx for ur rply sir, talked to imran bhai and he told me he's going out of city for few days, so i will continue after consulting him bcoz 1 major problem here is deep scratches on 2 door .. and since i dont have experience with sanding and stuff so dont wana take risk.

so may b next week, when he comes back, then i will continue until thn, just wash and wax..
actually i might go for megs stuff (hand application), just bcoz i want to do this on my own and consulting u guyz and here imran bhai...coz no way im getting any experience when im not even doing anythng...

I checked the prices in authorized shops but i just wanted to confirm the prices of these products in lahore:

1 . 3m performance finish synthetic wax liquid - for 1650 rupees

2. Mothers clay kit - for 2800 rupees. This is the price from importers......what a bunch of thieves.

3. Mothers california gold pure brazilian carnauba wax a.k.a step 2 of ultimate wax system - 1950rupees from importers. 1850rupees from another shop (i'll tell name if necessary).

i tried with light hand as well as with pressure,you see wax can be seen in starting then it starts to miss out,on horizontal pannels where i cant see wax application,i just apply it assuming it gets applied,i dont know why i am facing this issue,b4 i never faced any such issues
also i tried with 1 drop of wax n 2-3 drops,even i tried another method by drawing a line of wax yet still same thing,lets see how it goes this time when it stops raining.

what is APC n detailing brush n from where to get them n for how much?
i thought to clean those areas with brush during the wash

yea dust starts settling as soon as u dry,n black ride clearly shows that,i think dry wipe would be fine?as wet wipe normally used to leave lines atleast on bonnet

yea there are water marks around viper sprayer,normally because when you use it,water drops drop there + when you have dried the car n when you drive it,water comes out from there even after drying :mad:
water marks on that place were very stubborn n were handled by swirl remover,once applied meg's ultimate compound on it n it brought a fresh bright look from the previous dull look,but after wax i dont feel that same change :S
n i notice that reflections on the car can be seen even after the wash as well as can be seen after buffing the wax
i use turtle ice shampoo where u can use 4 litre of water for 1 ounce,but i think that makes it alot dilture so i use lesser water n now i use pressure water to make foam
no matter how much u wipe washmitt or dry still those water marks type thing esp transparent look of bird dropping can usually be seen

Yes i know, Autoline is giving overpriced products to customers but it gives good rates to shops......like the Mothers step 3 is for 1850 at D-lux, M.m alam road(just before Shahnawaz Mercedes showroom) but for 1950 at Autoline......the wax at D-lux was definitely original, packing was legit, wax had the same smell and color as the Mothers Cleaner wax i have and it had a slip inside on which was written by Mothers itself "Wax may be cracked on edges...." something like that. They do deal in car care prods but they buy from importers so some prices good, some not so good. And i know D-lux is making profit even by selling it at 1850!
They also have most of the 3m line, wheel cleaner, car wash, compound etc. The performance finish was for 1695 (i posted wrong before). It looked original but i didn't smell/open it. The clay kit is for 2800 at Autoline.......
