procedure is very simple
spray over spot and clean with micro fibre cloth, if stain is tough give 1-2 minutes for soaking.
caution is: just clean with fabric cloth, do not rub

I hope this product did not dry up the fabric upon cleaning/drying ?

U know what I am regularly browsing PW from last one year to learn a bit about motoring, keeping an eye on most of the thread but I was deliberately ignoring thinking "ignorance is blessing", once u know basics of cleaning ride u cant live up with those so called service stations.
when u can stop u don't want to, and when u want to stop, u can't............ this is what we call addiction

but after seeing results of my first exercise I think its time to learn basics of detailing. thread subscribed and ready to read it from page one.

I did not feel any dryness or color fade on fabric, dashboard & pillars were a bit dry though.

I just got a new ride. The car is nearly 9-10 years old. It's a vitz. The car is gun mettalic in color. I need advice on how to keep the paint protected. As of yet, i got turtle car wax and armorall tire foam. I was about to get turtle ice kit but I'm a beginner so..

ok so recently i got my hands on Maguires PlastX. i didnt get the full kit that includes the 1000 grit and 3000 grit papers so i bought them from a hardware store.

i got to work on my headlights since they had gone yellowish.

First i only used the PlastX and it completly removed all the yellowness from the headlights. but the scratches were still there.

So after soaking the 2 sand papers in water for 10 minutes, i started of with the 1000 grit, constantly spraying the headlight with water+soap mixture in a horizontal manner. wiped it off after each grit paper and then finally used the PlastX.

This improved some of the scratches.

PROBLEM: When i repeated the same steps for my 2nd headlight, the plaxtX dsnt seem to work and the headlight is as hazy as i had it after the 3000 grit. i tried the PlastX multiple times but its not working

What should i do?

turtle wax color magic.. civic 2009 run without proper waxing for about 2 years.. it did restore color and shine..

Meguiar's ultimate paste wax costs 3.2k in optimum motorsports/karachi
It would be better to use paste wax with hand and liquid with an orbital polisher which is much safer than a rotary.
Bhai jan i know soft 99 gives a slippery and shiny surface but it is just an overpriced version of kosmic kangroo- It is extremely Abrasive and will slowly eat your cars clear coat eventually destroying your car's finish within two years. The smooth and shiny surface is actually the fresh layer of clear coat which will finish someday. I'm new to detailing just like you but i would suggest you to use turtle wax products-you'll really feel a difference.

After claying and a coat of some good 'ol fashion Platinum series wax and extra gloss
Didnt do the entire car since it was drizzling so only did the hood and fenders

We got the rusty panels replaced and a few spots repainted but the paint job is just satisfactory
the colour doesnt match at a certain places and looks kinda rough although he did sand the car with a 0 ka sandpaper
Cant this be sorted out without getting the car painted again ?

I may be wrong but this restoration is temporary as color magic fills in scratches and hazy areas, so you may see it back in a few days...

U maybe right , but it has given me results... better than using turtle ordinary wax .. using color magic once a month or after 5-6 weeks and using ordinary wax every 2 weeks will maintain the colour and shine... am making a thread about detailing ext and int of my cars soon , u can see the details there..
