U maybe right , but it has given me results... better than using turtle ordinary wax .. using color magic once a month or after 5-6 weeks and using ordinary wax every 2 weeks will maintain the colour and shine... am making a thread about detailing ext and int of my cars soon , u can see the details there..

Color magic is more like a glaze/light polish and contains heavy fillers and all it does majorly is mask the underlying issues. So its not meant to be used regularly. It doesn't provide you much of a protection individually and should be complemented by a wax. There are definitely much better products than Turtle out there (Meguiars/Mothers/3M range easily available locally). You will be amazed how good results these produce when used correctly and the looks/protections stays for a longer time. Baaki aapki marzi

Its mainly fillers and color coded pigmentations. You should use this rather every 2-3 months if you really want to use it. Pick a good sealant/wax from the Meguiars range and that should keep you going for long.

Small Detailing of Liana after 6months.I did some waxing, this is our daily runner vehicle.

Needs loads of paint correction done on it......loads of it....lacking in shine...gloss....depth, heck the base really says 6 months is just a trailer......get that front bumper wetsanded an finished.......please start looking after the car on a weekly basis i.e. wash and wax....it will InshAllah get better with the passage of time !

ok so recently i got my hands on Maguires PlastX. i didnt get the full kit that includes the 1000 grit and 3000 grit papers so i bought them from a hardware store.

i got to work on my headlights since they had gone yellowish.

First i only used the PlastX and it completly removed all the yellowness from the headlights. but the scratches were still there.

So after soaking the 2 sand papers in water for 10 minutes, i started of with the 1000 grit, constantly spraying the headlight with water+soap mixture in a horizontal manner. wiped it off after each grit paper and then finally used the PlastX.

This improved some of the scratches.

PROBLEM: When i repeated the same steps for my 2nd headlight, the plaxtX dsnt seem to work and the headlight is as hazy as i had it after the 3000 grit. i tried the PlastX multiple times but its not working

What should i do?

Without pics, my best guess is you went to deep into the plastic with the wetsanding........pics will help give a more accurate eval of the situation.......are you doing the plast-x by hand or power tool ?

turtle wax color magic.. civic 2009 run without proper waxing for about 2 years.. it did restore color and shine..

Colour pigments lil guy, your gona end up with a very messy paint situation in a bit........you might wana stay away ! But on the other hand, 2 years of a "no wax" regime, and in one go you made it up ! This is trophy stuff............!

sir i didnt really knew anything about waxes a year ago before i got a new car .. it isnt really my job to take care of cleaning cars up , its the drivers job , and he didnt do s*** about wax and stuff for like 2 years ( july 2010 to nov 2012) and since the last 1 year i am waxing both of my cars myself .. so i didnt really make this 2 years of no wax regime in one go , with all due respect big guy

I think u should have a dedicated sales thread too on pw or fb. Local market is filled with Megs n Turtle only
