i like this color in toyota as this color having lots of metalic flakes 
cosmic is finishing wax without any polishing oils nor any cleanzers , but its life iss too short as in words of our Amir bhai "aik raat ki dulhan"
definatly turtle is step ahead from cosmic wax and will give u better outcomes with better life.
for base u have 2 options
1) polishing
remove minor swirls and polishing oils will give depth in paint as well as cleanze the skin , enhance the metallic flakes than u can top up with ur wax , meguiars ultimate polish is good option
2) cleaner wax / glaze
cleaner waxes also called all in one waxes, polish / protect / and shine in one step , cleanze the paint , though will not remove swirls but will hide/ mask and u can top up with wax coat, examples are turtle cleaner wax, mothers carnuaba cleaner wax, meguiars cleaner wax
glazes contain rich oils to cleanze the paint, hide/mask minor imperfections and deep dark the paint however glaze life is very short so must protect it with coat of wax , example of glaze locally avilable meguiars #7 glaze, 3m hand glaze, mothers hand glaze
in start i think u should proceed with option 2 as its safe
avoid dry dusting and use double bucket method for car wash
