Salam all,

I have got few questions to be answered..

I have got corolla in medium silver color and its 2 years old.. Recently i have bought turtle hard shell wax for my car but before that i was using regular cosmic..

1) Should i apply only turtle wax next time i wash my car..??
2) Should i apply cosmic first then apply turtle wax..??
3) I have heard that you can apply polish before wax but is cosmic a polish or wax?? coz if it is a polish then i can use it before wax but if not then which polish do you recommend..??

I would really appreciate if you guys answer my questions.. Thanks in Advance..!!

My mistake....cosmic does NOT have any polishing oils.
I'm just a beginner I thought cosmic wasn't recomended because of its abrasives. @ahmad_yar can shed more light on this:)

Yes i left it because the zakhmi hands was not having more power to do some regrae on engine, after the rim cleaning, so thats why just ended the session after applying only pressure water. electrical wirings and plug box was covered, was not aware that i have to cover alternator also but next time proper work will be done. Insha ALLAH. thanks

one question: how to use foam tire cleaner..?

Wet tire by spraying water. Spray tire foam cleaner on tire and use a brush or a separate microfiber towel for wheels ONLY(a lot of emphasis on ONLY :D). Brush se ragra na marna; start gently and if its very dirty/muddy then use a little pressure to clean them otherwise very gently clean them and rinse off well. Dry the tires with a dry microfiber for wheels ONLY.

I just hate cleaning dirty trim especially on a civic; i did it once and started with a clean yellow mf and by the time i was done it was black.
Start by washing the panel or area around the trim and rinse. Its important to have a clean surface to start with. Simply use diluted APC/presoak(with warm water for better action) with a microfiber and rub gently wherever dirt is stuck. You definitely need a cleaner stronger than car wash to get all the built up wax, grime etc out. Make sure the area you are rubbing is thoroughly sprayed for better lubrication. After an area is done, rinse or wash it like you normally wash your car. Using a mf is way better than using a brush as it won't put any noticeable scratches.

cosmic is good wax , almost all of us have used it just 2 issues, very short life , just gone in one wash and 2ndly its polluted the lighter paints like white :S, in economical price range turtle far better than cosmic and formulla 1

Buck up, bro! Its just paint; its not your life or anything which is way more important. That pen is a waste of money and time. You can see the white primer; best thing would be to kalam with matching paint and wetsand/compound it to even it out.

Did some Detaling on following cars last weekend.

1) Daihatsu Terios: Interior was cleaned. Washed and then applied GC on it.
2) Suzuki Swift: Vacuammed the carpet, washed with Armorall Wash n Wax Shampoo and then applied Meguiars #26 on it.
3) Japanese Alto: Its my car so the best work is been done on it. Firstly I washed my car, washed mats, vacuammed carpet, cleaned interior and applied Meguiars Nxt on it.

Yes its the rubber i'm talking about; thats trim. Also the rubber/metal lining on the bottom of door mirror is also trim. A cleaner will help in loosening the hard build up in the trim and thats what a car wash can't remove. A substitute can be detailer spray and rubbing with a mf.

Foam tire cleaner is for both the tire and rims..?

1) wet the tire.
2) spray the foam cleaner.
3) brush se ragra nahi marna.
sahi hai ragra nahi marna tou phir separate mf and brush ka kya karna hai phir..?

Yes got it, a separate mf for tires. but for tires i can also use 40 rupee wala kamra...?

Thanks for the detailer category lift Jo bhi hain, aap hi kay student hain.. and your words of praise really add that spark within. durrani bhai chotay zaroor hain par has a lot of hands on experience with a wide range of products, so I believe I am way far from him. I may not be able to reach his level given my selectivity of the products and keeping them limited and making them go through their endurance of weeks/months, but you never know what the future holds I do try to cover that by staying theoretically equipped with all sorts of product stacks and comparative knowledge about them.

dear abdul bhai without any doubt u r on right track, just remember selants are for protection only while finishing waxes give beauty and both are useless if base surface is not prepared , now u need attention on tool and products for surface preparation and than see how basic products can also do wonders good going brother

i have a little query

double bucket wash means two buckets,one with water n other with shampoo solution
so first we take wash mitt,soak with solution apply on car then put in water rinse out the dirt n then use the solution BUT when car is dirty esp after rain,so always or mostly with me,the wash mitt gets dirty alot n even if i try lots of rinsing from water,dip in water rinse out it still stays quite dirty esp after few times,so what to do?should i just continue since that was suppose to take out the loose dirt
normally i use pressure water so i cleap up wash mitt every time with that pressure but otherwise its hardly any pressure which doesnt cleans it up like today,i even put it down n rubbed hand on it,rubbed it like in washing but nothing :mad:
