About paint cleaner, its meant as a step 1 product in the Meguiars 3 step range. This is more like a cleaner wax but without a wax. Usually applied to remove you wax layer (same family mostly and some others but not all) and also offer paint cleaning from environmental factors.
SwirlX is a mid level abrassive range from the consumer line of Meguairs. More abrassive from it as ScratchX 2.0 and Ultimate compound. But you can have another pass with SwirlX later (the next time you do a thorough detaill) and see if that takes you even further. Achieving 100% is tough by hand. 80-90% is a great score. You should get hand applicators with a light cut for even better results (e.g. Lake country CCS hand applicator orange light cut, you'll get that from US/UK though).
