dammit :mad::mad: yesterday washed & waxed my ride, it was shining like new. today everyone stared at me and my ride with strange looks and 10 minutes later gari thuk gaye, 3 ugly dents in the right fender + hideous scratches. picture is not showing them hence I've marked them out

damn ! feeling down since it happened.

ALHAMDULILLAH... main thing is that you are safe.. cars ka kya hy road pr hoon gi to kuch na kuch hoga hi.. but by seeing pics seems that fender absorbed the impact too much.. in other case no fender will be there... by the way car mari kithy hy???

ALLAH hum sab ko buri nazar se bacha k rakhy.. Ameen! ... even it happened with me twice that after waxing and polishing went to ministry of interior for some issue, when returned back and saw a big deep scratch on rear left door... pta ni logo se saaf suthri chamakti hue cars kyu hazam ni hoti... yahi dua hy k ALLAH sab ko hidayat dy..Ameen!

Thanx again bro.. This towel aint like any other mf towel.. N yes.. Once i use it i will surely let you know abt the result it acheives.. I was thinking to meet ahmed bhai or usman bhai n ask abt it in detail.. Insh Allah will soon be dripping in with a tons of questions (hopefully by this weekend)

Thanks you brother.. Yes.. I am regular.. Infact i think i might have gotten a new worm in me.. I was travellinh on motorway yesterday.. While stopping at bhera, i went to the washroom.. On coming out, i saw a poor guy cleaning my bonnet n bumber with a regular normal (dirty) cloth and i was like wtf.. I quickly ran outside and literally scolded him for what he was doing. Basically im v possesive abt my car and how i keep it.. Who isnt? And long gone are those days when i used to have 1 polish n 2 cloths.. Mash Allah thanks to you ive got abt more than a dozen mf cloths n loads of sahmpoos n waxes for my rides. Once again thank you all for your input and help! Double thumps up!

well said bro, well was going on the main road, I was following a LC (nowadays they are demolishing buildings here in-order to build a better and wider road so bricks and other stuff lying on road) as I was following him a cement block appeared from nowhere, the LC crossed over it easily, behind I slammed the brakes but the corner of that block hit my car. thankfully there was nobody behind me.

can anyone please tell me about the difference between a mf cloth and mf chamois

A microfiber cloth is usually made up of 80%Polyester and 20% polymide. It is statically charged and is capable of cleaning sensitive surfaces. They can absorb atleast 2 timesmore water than a normal cloth and will never shed lint. It is the best cloth to use for a swirl free detail.
A microfiber chamois is made of of synthetic animal skin and has good water absorbing capabilities. It too does not shed lint but it is not as SAFE as a microfiber cloth.

I would like to disagree :)... the thread shouldn't be for newbies but i would suggest that a sticky thread be created separately each for waxing, polishing, compounding, claying etc.. experts can post tips and tricks etc about procedures to be followed or how to for specific products, kind of like diy... it may be a moderated thread where normal members should not be able to post to keep it clean..

lately here are either newbies asking basic questions or experts showing flawless pics only ... no one discusses about how to's or the procedures followed during detailing, there should be posts like this every once in a while.

what do you guys think? also pakwheels lack polls functionality (H)

Aun bhai< abdul bhai , ur goodself can make posts for newbies and we will request usman bhai to give thoes post links in main page , its simple. This is thread which introduce all of us with each others and bonded like one family with worlds strongest paint coating, which we all maintain with wworlds best waxes and spray sealants and now this bonding is rock hard mashallah which no one can remove by wet sanding or compounding. This is our family , our home , our loveones so why we look arround ? we all should make some detailing introductory post for newbies and get it approved by usman bhai, amir bhai, kashif bhai and than give it link in main post

My small and humble suggestion and request

After long time "Reflections"
I only detailed the hood. fixed some heavy swirls(spider webs). now very very fine scratches are left.
waiting for "sun" to catch some clear pictures.
