i dont understand why we need seprate thread for newbies ? Aun bhai< abdul bhai , ur goodself can make posts for newbies and we will request usman bhai to give thoes post links in main page , its simple. This is thread which introduce all of us with each others and bonded like one family with worlds strongest paint coating, which we all maintain with wworlds best waxes and spray sealants and now this bonding is rock hard mashallah which no one can remove by wet sanding or compounding. This is our family , our home , our loveones so why we look arround ? we all should make some detailing introductory post for newbies and get it approved by usman bhai, amir bhai, kashif bhai and than give it link in main post

mehnat ka nateeja mila tha abhi bhi hai
as due to lack of rain every one is suffering from cold flu fever
and i got mehnat ka nateeja right after detailing

Just a simple wash.. no wax... its almost a month that I havent applied wax, and still my car skin is shiny and slippery...

Preetty much a good idea that the wax coat has protected the surface ! So I guess yer good to go on the new one !

Had a long day today
Started with:
Wash, turtle ice used
Clayed the car after 8 months( relatively clean surface)
Ultimate Compound and Polish done
Later car prepped for sealant and then sealant applied
In the end Ultimate Paste wax applied
Trim took care of and
Tires dressed

Very happy with outcome
Micro swirls there but no major swirls left

I know there is a lot of discussion that i can see like people saying use Turtle wax or MF etc, but can you please suggest 1 or 2 things that I can use to shine my love :p. I don't want more expensive stuff. A normal product with good result is enough for me.

that depends on your budget
like you can meg's gold class,i think its for 2.2 or 2.5k,dont know current price
meg's ultimate wax costs 3k but u can get for 2.7k from pw members

n for turtle i dont know,i only have its shampoo n black box which costed me 2.6k,some1 few months back mentioned that its for 2.2 in lahore,it has 2 detailer sprays,1 cleaner wax n 1 carnuba wax,over all its pretty good package n really shines up
go to any market that has lots of variety like hyperstar i think in lahore,n see which product fits in ur budget,get a carnuba wax for regular use,u'd need mf cloth for cleaning the wax though,get a simple soft one
rest as all say meg>mother>turtle

I would like to disagree :)... the thread shouldn't be for newbies but i would suggest that a sticky thread be created separately each for waxing, polishing, compounding, claying etc.. experts can post tips and tricks etc about procedures to be followed or how to for specific products, kind of like diy... it may be a moderated thread where normal members should not be able to post to keep it clean..

lately here are either newbies asking basic questions or experts showing flawless pics only ... no one discusses about how to's or the procedures followed during detailing, there should be posts like this every once in a while.

what do you guys think? also pakwheels lack polls functionality (H)

dammit :mad::mad: yesterday washed & waxed my ride, it was shining like new. today everyone stared at me and my ride with strange looks and 10 minutes later gari thuk gaye, 3 ugly dents in the right fender + hideous scratches. picture is not showing them hence I've marked them out
