Woke up late today. Washed the car. Started working and day passed quickly. I wish i had a buffer machine
All done except rear fenders, doors and bumpers.

As i was going through the thread saw many beautiful rides which are well detailed... Im also starting detailing :). My ride is Civic 2008 Gun metallic colour. I have no idea , absolutely no idea bout it so please guide me...
I don't want to spend alot at first as i am new to all this, so i am starting it slowly. I used to wax my ride with turtle hard shell wax or cosmic wax, as i thought to start some of the work so i just purchased TURTLE ICE LIQUID CLAYBAR, BUFFER, and LIQUID FORMULA 1 CARNUBA WAX (liquid wax for buffer).
I know the Formula 1 carnuba is the cheapest wax around, and so i need a good wax for outstanding results. After claying should i use Formula 1 carnuba or its harmful (i heard its harmful as it has cutting polish), but i saw mostly people around using this. Also visited there website didn't see any such thing.

So i'll be washing my ride with Formula shampoo
Claying and then washing it water only again,
then ill wax it.

So i should use cosmic or liquid carnuba which can be applied with buffer.

Please help me out here.

did a wet wipe today morning
n now i remember again that i dont like it
whenever i wipe,dust starts to get into corners n then there are some dust lines that stay back
i spray water normally on mf but sometimes on panel as well,i tried like 3-4 fresh sides to clean that for full car almost mostly bonnet n roof
for trunk,it had little sunlight on it at 8:30am so even after cleaning it looked like if it has dust on it but well i think it was just effect of sunlight or whatever
so thats why i dont like wet wipe,it isnt as easy as u talk about
trunk n roof were still moist at that time
but anyways i cleaned full car wid my dear soft mf which i used to only dry the car after using the water magnet first,now its full of dust on most sides

The claybar is okay but the formula 1 isnt good.
It all depends on your budget-
Since you want a liquid wax go for
1) Meguiars ultimate liquid wax 3.5krs
2) Mothers step3 ( liquid version)
3) Turtle wax platinum series liquid wax 900rs.

Btw how much did you get the clay for?

finally did my 1st detailing... i'm satisfied coz it gave my car a chromed look however i tried to remove swirls but it didn't work upto that extent where i was expecting though it reduced many swirls !!
products used:
1. Meg wash n wax
2. Meg swirl X
3. Meg ultimate liquid polish
4. Meg Black wax !!
everything is done by my hand.. started at 12 noon n finished at 9 pm + i realised i should use rotary next time

Aoa everyone . Hope every one is doing good .. Did some wash and wax.

Products used:- Mother Shampoo , Meguiars Synthetic Sealant , Meguiars Endurance Gel ..

Nightmare for a detailer, a lussh paaash gari proper detailed with ultimate polish first then black wax, nxt on white rims, and then ik bike wala helmet uper karta ha r pan ke **** thuk phankta ha road pa, begair kch pichay dakhay. R agay jo howa ho gaa ap samaj he sakty ha :banghead:

Last time i checked optimum motorsports had the microfiber applicator pads. Pack of 2 for 700rs

The level of gloss and reflections are amazing! Please remove the car masters sticker from your boot lid:)
And are you sure you used meguiars black wax?

The rear and front shots look amazingly glossy MashAllah. If this was your first detail session, I would suggest you stay applying things with hand for now and use rotary later (which requires a bit of experience, knowing clearly how to use it as improper use can induce further damage).
And a tip for you, not to keep the bottles (or other objects) straight on the car. I understand its a norm for a reflection shot but if you notice closely, they have a microfiber towel placed under it. After you apply polish/wax, the surface becomes very slick and objects will slide with the chances of causing some marring.

Wash double bucket and do not dry dust between washes (use a QD instead). Keep us posted on how durable the looks stay. I am sure it would be turning a lot of heads in the street

Looks like you're getting streaks/lines from cleaning. To prevent it use a detailer spray and a microfiber towel ONLY meant for cleaning........you used your drying towel this time so it leaves you with a few options:
1. Buy a new mf for drying and keep the other one you already had for general cleaning
OR
2. Wash the drying towel VERY thoroughly to remove all dirt so it doesn't swirl your car every time you dry it.

I initially advised you the wet wipe to get rid of the morning dust marks and runs on the paint which you don't like. The leftover dust in corners can be detailed when you finally wash the car. And the next time you detail make it better than the previous one.

MashaAllah. For a first timer the results speak for themselves. Pics are good and show good depth in color which happens to be my favourite. :D. Hold your horses there fella, rotaries will come into play but not until you've mastered the basics so as they say work hard, play hard .
On a side note:
By "Meg ultimate liquid polish" do you mean Meguiars Ultimate Polish OR Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax ? And please mention the correct order in which the products were applied.

@anzaidi Here comes the black beauty to divert our attention :D. MashaAllah. There is good depth and gloss remains after 3 days which means the sealant has done a god job . Bro, did you drive a lot i those 3 days? I ask because it looks like the dressing is almost gone.....or maybe you applied it sparingly?

It already turned many heads... sometimes i feel uncomfortable when people continuously stare at my car

Meg ultimate liquid polish bhai !!
firstly i washed my car with Meg wash n wax ( double bucket method )
applied Meg scratch X
then Ultimate polish n finally Black wax !!
