The claybar is okay but the formula 1 isnt good.
It all depends on your budget-
Since you want a liquid wax go for
1) Meguiars ultimate liquid wax 3.5krs
2) Mothers step3 ( liquid version)
3) Turtle wax platinum series liquid wax 900rs.

Btw how much did you get the clay for?

finally did my 1st detailing... i'm satisfied coz it gave my car a chromed look however i tried to remove swirls but it didn't work upto that extent where i was expecting though it reduced many swirls !!
products used:
1. Meg wash n wax
2. Meg swirl X
3. Meg ultimate liquid polish
4. Meg Black wax !!
everything is done by my hand.. started at 12 noon n finished at 9 pm + i realised i should use rotary next time

Did some detailing on my car. Washed with Armorall Shampoo and the Applied Meguiars #26.

Hey Guys!
I detailed my ride 3 weeks back, but still it is shining like just waxed, daily runner not even cleaned since then..
washed with Dodo Juice Shampoo
then two coats of Dodo Juice Light Fantastic Wax
then Dodo Juice Supernatural Acrylic Spritz applied..
Turtle Ice Synthetic Paste wax on rims..
tires were dressed with Turtle Ice Tire Gel
ride attracted v.less dust but tires are dirty though..
m satisfied with Dodo

first all heartily congrats you for having new car , mashallah one of best new car locally avilable , may Allah prove it safe ride for u and ur love ones ( ameen ) and 2ndly i am sad to inform you that soon u going to be addicted of car detailing :D.

No doubt black look very ellegent in civic but its bit difficult to care in the environment we are living , specially dust attraction.

we have locally avilable couple of detailing brands in differnt price range, so all depend how much u would like to spend on ur new ride than can guide u best products fall in ur budget.

mainly u need following stuff

1) car shampoo
2) wash mitt
3) microfiber clothes
4) a good natural wax
5) detailer spray
6) interior detailer
7) tier foam or gell

since car is just new so for time being no need for polish.

p.s stay away from service stations and surf car wash plz

Thank you for taking the time out and replying to my post.
Would you be kind to recommend some brand names (and from where to get authentic products in Lahore) for the stuff mentioned in your post (item 1 through 7)? Budget isn't the biggest of problems here, although I wouldn't want to splurge too much also

Another thought that comes to mind is: Is there a professional detailer in Lahore who does detailing commercially? How much does it cost for a sedan car to get it detailed by a pro? Ideas?

Looks like you're getting streaks/lines from cleaning. To prevent it use a detailer spray and a microfiber towel ONLY meant for cleaning........you used your drying towel this time so it leaves you with a few options:
1. Buy a new mf for drying and keep the other one you already had for general cleaning
OR
2. Wash the drying towel VERY thoroughly to remove all dirt so it doesn't swirl your car every time you dry it.

I initially advised you the wet wipe to get rid of the morning dust marks and runs on the paint which you don't like. The leftover dust in corners can be detailed when you finally wash the car. And the next time you detail make it better than the previous one.

n i think they can be used either for drying or buffing or whatever u want with them,whats the difference between mf's that will be used for drying n for buffing n for wet wipe
its not a towel but i have been drying car with it n it works quite fine n is very soft
i used to get those lines from other mf cloth as well which i was using for buffing but it wasnt supreme shine mf

when i already started cleaning the roof n trunk,mf was already dirty so why not the whole car then

these streaks/lines were the main issue whenever i tried wet wipe
i dont have detailer spray except that came with black box of turtle

Aoa everyone . Hope every one is doing good .. Did some wash and wax.

Try using turtle wax water less wash in a spray bottle.
Another option is to buy armorall detailed spray ~600 rs pr meguiars detailer spray ~1.5k rs
Tip- wax your car more often with a synthetic wax so that there us less chance of streaking...

Woke up late today. Washed the car. Started working and day passed quickly. I wish i had a buffer machine
All done except rear fenders, doors and bumpers.

I am thankful to this thread and our Detailing Gurus (Usman Bhai, Aamir Bhai, Ahmad bhai and other senior detailers too), due to them we all White car owners are now working on our rides and make them glossy and full of depth as the days are passing ... previously havent seen too much white rides on thread...

spent this whole week very busy @waqar19 hell of differnce in 50/50 shot mashallah very clean , white rolla in view of her age @hammad007 keep using dodo purple haze wax as every coat will give u more depth and gloss than previous one. @matrix1 why not complete car pics abhi be sea;lant se der lagta hai ?? mashallah nice pics @bilalnoor1987 i still rememmber when saw ur car at my place last winter , till now totaly change outlook mashallah , a lot differnece @huzaifaa bhai mashallah very clean and shiny ride, ye kab le ?? ur cell phone camera not doing justice @omer91 buhat buhat alla work really, depth, high gloss all there, polishes comes best by electric polishers and its not easy to get optimum outcomes by hand application but still ur work is pro mashallah , keep using glazes and natural waxes to mask the swirls as its new car so avoid heavy cutting with rotary polisher @anzaidi ali bhai nice to see u back on thread, what prep u did before sealant ? and what lsp ? @shazo bhai sad to hear ur story per kuch before pics tu laylyte na @umar323 hehe few more scratches on bumper but overall body is clean and very shiny u have one of best wax for this shade @mfahadb001 jr Dr. car chamakti hui or senior ki dirty dull hehe app ki annual increment nahi lagni senior dr nay heheh

6) Interior cleaning with vacuum cleaner, electric steam washer, meguiars apc plus , dedicated brushes for roof lining, carpet, seats fabric, dash panel and Auto finesse interior spritz detailer.
7) Meguiars M105 with Flex DA Polisher and Lake Country CCS Orange pad.
8) Meguiar's M205 with Flex Polisher and Lake Country CCS White Pad.
9) Auto Finesse Tough prep Sealant Polish.
10) Auto Finesse Power Seal sealant with Dodo Juice Big Daddy DA polisher and CCS Lake Country Blue finishing pad.

just for all of your info car whole front was re-painted , front bumper, hood, both fenders and left side front door
