Great Idea..Your father is a technical guy I must say... But bro this is not a replacement for a DA polisher, infact this is a replacement made for Rotary Polisher.
But you,ve only given the cost of the backing plate or the pad ??? How much would the whole setup cost to someone who doesnt have a drill + B.Plate + Wool Pad...?
Still Its a Thumbs Up. The wool pad + the drill has made it a fast cutting device. You better be carefull with this..

The correction is very good! The swirls and yellowness are gone.
What compound have you used? I would recomend giving a coat of cleaner wax...

So far meguiars clay kit and Ultimate compound are only used on this surface...
Question is
i have meg white wax which sure have cleaning abilities so what i,m confused about is ....
Should i use white wax first and than ultimate polish and then ultimate wax as in this case white wax will have a bare surface to work on so it will be able to do the cleansing very well but issue is after coat of wax polish might not be able to remove minor swirls and might not stick to the surface very well....
OR
Should i use ultimate polish first and then white wax and then ultimate wax a but in this case polish will create a layer thus white wax might not be able to do the cleansing very well and than ultimate wax might not stick well on a wax , means wax on wax .....

Dada jee's 85 ( Original paint , just a single touch up in late 90's on left mudguard )
Meg Wash & wax
Meg Ultimate paste wax
Next time inshallah will do proper detailing just washed & wax cuz shortage of time .

This drill is very expensive it is around 15k to 20k , normal drills are very dangerous for this kind of job....

Spent some time with Dad's corolla 2011 Silver..

History :
2011 Model
Never Waxed
Never Shampooed :o
Till Now 2 times got Serviced from Petrol Pump with Al Mashoor SURF EXCEL
Thrice weekly Car is washed at home with plain water

Yesterday Spent Some time. Setps Performed :

Pressure Wash (DODO Juice Wax Safe Shampoo)
Clayed (Turtle Ice Clay)
Washed Again with same Shampoo
Ultimate Polish With DA (Meguiars)

And here comes my JAAN Dewalt Drill Machine
It can do Hammer Drill , Simple Drill and Bolt jobs at different torques. It have 3 speeds.
By using bolt job i can adjust the max pressure at which the machine will do the job if i apply too much pressure it will stop rotating by itself so its safe also..

Now the results that i achieved from it. This is trunk portion full of swirls and medium depth scratches..

Also look at the 50/50 comparison that dark band is untreated part it was under the tape...
After..

MASHALLAH... good job done.... but be safe ...

some of scratches are not deep enough and can get rid from them by using compound and what ever deep enough left u need fillup paint , contact @jugno in islo he may help you
@faizandawood007 buhat allaaa DIY, number plate area seems brand new mashallah, hats off to your father for making such nice polisher well its showing wool pad which is quite aggressive and leave hair marks which showing in ur treated hood pics, i would suggest pls refine with foam polishing pad
@ehsan4808 i simply dont recoganized this car which few months back we removed elffy marks from driver side door , mashallah u revive the paint and now seems more vivid , cleanse and shiny , very good work bhai jan
@munzaleen yes there is depth mashallah but seems u using some kind of polish or cleaner wax on it

yes meguiars white wax is cleaner wax or u can say its AIO ( all in one wax ) , u already didi compound so now u dont need further cleaning as compound already cut a layer of clear coat and brought up fresh clean layer , now u need polishing surface but pls use foam pad for that as wool pad good for aggressive compound cutting only , now refine surface with polish with foam pad polish will remove minor swirls left behind as white wax just can do filling and not cutting.

well after polishing u dont need white wax but still if u wish a coat of white wax than no harm, white wax will do filling in remaining swirls , next day give shampoo wash to car and a layer of ultimate wax , inshallah u will be happy to see outcomes

Oh Ok Ok... Then its allrite,,, Wohi mein kahoun k time to bohat dia hai polishing kartay waqt as told by @ahmad_yar.. tasalli say saray pieces par polish work ki, still kami kahan reh gayi.. Eventhough i know that kami reh gayi ho gi as i am a beginner but I was curious to locate the part jahan kami reh gai ho....
Trust me, the final MF towel wipe was done when the car was start and my Mom & Dad were inside the car , leaving for some place.. As soon as i gave dad "ThumbsUp" signal he drove it away as they were already getting late..

After polishing the car, I have plans to wipe it and then apply Synthetic sealant, Afterwards I have plans to use Dodo Light Fantastic Wax..
Plz suggest .

Clay Done / Polish Done... Wax abhi kahannnn ??... Abhi to aik baar APC wipe karna hai car ko..Then Sealant lagana hai ... Us ko curing time daynay k baad WAX..... Working Slow and Steady.. Reason : Abba Jee ki car hai , jab mera mood hota hai to car ghar par nahi hoti,. Jab car ghar par ho to mera mood nahi hota , Mood bhi ho aur car bhi ho to pata chalta hia k begum ka koi kaaam honay wala hota hai market ka. ... Lolz....

Ehsan bhai APC wipe ka baray mein thori info dein kia product use hoti hai for best result what is difference between APC and IPA wipe?
Aur yeh IPA wipe kahan se miltay hain...

one more thing bhai does it make any difference in the layer of polish that creates depth for the paint if apply two coats of polish , means if i apply two coats of ultimate polish what difference i will achieve as compared to one coat...
