you had an issue with your corolla lights right?
i got mine cleaned,so properly sealed off as well n as good as new 
will see after wash if any thing goes in or not 
like mentioned IPA is Isopropyl Alcohol,n wipe means it is wiped on the car,it is done after compound n polish to remove the oils from the surface as ahmed bhai told me
i googled the term n read about it in some forum as well,some one had a detailed post about it that the more you dilute it the better,it causes explansion of paint n so causes swelling as well but that depends on the paint job on that car,with the swelling n expansion the pores become soft n hence when you wax or apply sealent,they can easily get into the paint,mainly it is used to remove the polishing oils so that sealent/wax can bond with car paint
APC i think is all purpose cleaner of 3m which with different dilutions can be used to clean undercarriage,interior,rims etc
didnt knew its an alternative to IPA wipe as well
