Jee Jee .. Aamir bhai .. Ye Shehzadi Catrina ni Cressida hy (my family also call her with same name) ... Abhi to picture baki hy Aamir bhai... Zindagi mein pehli martba Car Shampoo or wax ki shakal dekhi hy Shehzadi ne... (wysy tusi Catrina "C" wali kahi ya "K" wali :P)

Jee jee Orbital polisher k bohat jhatky mary hyn, pr skin abhi tak dry or rough feel ho rahi hy, mere expectation tak abhi tak ni pohanchi ... Yesterday washed with Armorall Wash and Wax shampoo (double bucket method), then used Rubbing compound with Orbital polisher ... Today INSHALLAH will do the wax session if car skin will come to my expectation ...

Pr ek hor rola py gya ... Yesterday while doing rubbing compound the bumper corners worn out all my Foam pad .. so have to continue with wool pad..

Omar bhai.. thanks for liking.... frankly speaking the results with wool pad are not as much satisfactory as with foam pad.. wool pad adds some very neglegible swirls.. pr ki katye majboori thi half car foam pad se ki or half car wool pad se karni pari...

Omar bhai and Aamir bhai one more thing to add the car paint is a single stage paint, means no clear coat on it.. so may be will not get the results as with the paint which has clear coat...

Opti-Coat 2.0-Method of Application:
After unscrewing the cap and replacing it with the applicator cap I was ready to go. I dabbed some very small drops of OC onto a fresh applicator and began to apply in straight line method. The Opti-Coat 2.0 is TOTALLY DIFFERENT type of product as compared to all other waxes and sealants(liquid/spray) I have tested. It appeared to evaporate quicker. After a few strokes of careful application I became confident and bolder. I should say that a little goes long. I had a separate clean plush microfiber ready in hand if in case I see any high spot. I must mention here that proper light is VERY necessary while you apply the OC to see the high spots (if any). You will yourself feel the difference during its application. I wager all the experienced and senior detailers out there that the moment u apply it very first time, u will tell yourself from your experience... "Wow!!! its different".

And the final Results:

Final observations: Looks awesome.. nothing more that I can say. Simply awesome. Compared to paint sealants and waxes its not as slick to touch, rather it feels bit grabby. But looks wise its simply outstanding.
I've noticed that now my car gets less dirty. And hell easy to maintain with ONR wash. I highly recommend this product. Atleast now I have peace of mind that OC is protecting the paint to light swirls, air borne contaminants and other alien vulnerabilities. Though there is NO NEED for any wax or sealant now but just to satisfy my urge for detailing I apply Meguiar's Ultimate quik wax whenever I feel like.

Caution: Novice detailers use it on their own risk. Experienced detailers who have practice of applying waxes and sealants REALLY THIN can handle it. Even autogeek warns before purchasing this product in following words: "Due to the unique formulation of this product, we ask that you acknowledge that you have read and understand the application and purpose of Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 before purchasing it."

Excellent use of the products and procedure indicating clear understanding of how to do it end to end. The writeup is very methodical as well MashAllah. A few questions your way (based on your experience/observations with the use of OC):

1. The environment you OC'ed the car in is a contaminated/dusty environment. I understand you used carpro eraser and thats anti static, but still you are working with dust around you that is likely to be trapped inside OC. Nothing you can see, but you know its there. Perhaps an early morning slot would've suited. Could this be the reason why it feels a bit grabby than being super slick (which is how it should be for lesser surface tension and staying even more cleaner)?

2. How many cars (sedans) on average can be done with it?

3. How many dots do you apply for a section coverage and does it give you a good work time or melts instantly in the surface ?

4. Most importantly, how does it change the look of car to let a 3rd person feel the car is re-painted? OC does add a few microns to the clear coat making it appear thick (something you see common on repainted cars having thick clear coat). Although its super reflective (which the repainted cars aren't), but still you know how people around operate in their judgement. Any thoughts on this ?

You seem like quite the committed detailer to even be getting under areas that many dont get into the hassle of touching into. The 50/50 shot is excellent and its good that you didn't go for a 100% correction with the toolset you were using. The corrected side does look white and since I own the same car as well, I can tell you keeping it frosty white is challenging. Use a good 3m double tape for putting the chrome area back.
Looking forward to full car pictures when its ready and get into the extra hassle of maintaining it well to keep it swirl free.

Thanks for the appreciation. Weather was not that good as it was sunny all three days. Enjoyed snow only in nathia thats it.
