played with different combos and enjoyed different shades..
currently car has 1 coat of cleaner wax,3m performance finish,#26 and 2 coats of nxt and step 3..

I have a polisher Biloxxi that was purchased from Metro. Now I want new applicator pads that fit on the rotary machine. Two pads were given originally(one for application and the other for buffing) where can I get new ones from and what is their cost. BTW I am in Islamabad.
The following pic was taken by devilz_apprentice and I have the same polisher.

After having consecutive visits to my village the car was full of dirt and oily specially engine. So decided to done a complete interior and exterior cleaning of my car and worked on each and every corner of it specially those areas which are neglected in normal cleaning of car. Though forgot to take pictures before cleaning but after work pictures are here.

Engine was full of dirt, oil n grease as was not cleaned properly since long so decided to clean it with 3M Engine Degreser the results were amazing. As i was using this product for the 1st time so not able to achieve 100% but still 80-85% results achieved

Cleaned thoroughly with Formula1 Shampoo from every aspect specially the door locks and door hinges which were very dirty with lot of dust n grease around them. Used different brushes as well for cleaning these areas and applied Maguiars Gold Class Carnuba Wax on the car afterwards. So after lot of rubbing and cleaning got a cleaner car, btw its 2005 model Alto VXR with almost 200,000kms on ODO

Aaslamalaikum everyone.

I have been waning to do a complete extensive interior detail of my car for a long time but couldnt get the time and hen the products got delayed bu finally all the necessary products were in my hand this weekend so couldn resist to star.

The process took 2 days.

Here i goes.

1st day:
Started at about 3:30pm and ended at about 8pm
-Started with cleaning the tyres with shampoo + APC solution using a cheap microfiber and a brush
-Cleaned the car with DODO juice BOB shampoo using double bucket method.
-Clayed the car with Meg Smooth Clay kit.
-Cleaned with DODO juice shampoo using double bucket method.
-Used UC & UP on some portions of the car and then protected with some carnauba(mothers step 3).

2nd day:
Started at about 12:30 and finished at about 4pm
-Gave a detailer wipe to remove settled dust.
-Completed the car with the treatment by UC and UP and protected the finish with carnauba wax.
-Treated all tyres + wheel arch's plastic + exterior plastic trim with a trim protector.
-Gave another detailer wipe on the car to remove any fine dust particles.
-Gave the whole car a coat of NXT 2.0 Tech wax.

About 70-80% of the swirls go removed from the car with UC applied by hand which was great. Though couldnt clearly capture the paint correction because didnt have proper camera. For now you will have to suffice with my blackberry's 5mp camera:P

@quddos MashaAllah. Looks like humare karnamon ne gaari ki look he badal di. Very nice gloss overall. Did you notice any difference between results of either side? Mein ne kaam kharaab tou nai kar dya kya

Aoa. Need some advice from the experts. I wash my black Reborn weekly using meguairs Nxt Shampoo followed by Nxt Tech paste. I leave the paste to dry for about 20-30 minutes. However, it becomes very hard and difficult to remove. In a how to video on YouTube, the guy cleaned off the paste with a micro fiber after just 3 min. So am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to be hard

1.Panel by panel application is the best......
2.Apply very very thin. (More product will not give a better finish. Your paint can only absorb a certain amount in one go).
If you want you can apply two thin coats.
3. Always use microfiber cloths to buff off your wax after max 5 minutes.
The trick is to slide your finger across the surface. If the wax comes off easily- buff it off.
4. Do not wash or wax in the sun. I wax in the evening or at fajr...

Experts, please corrrect if anything is wrong:)

You have really worked consistently to keep your car in tip top shape. MashAllah! That is one heck of a ride, i would believe you even if you told me that it has done only 20k kms. Engine bay is very clean, i can never do that!
Door jambs, fuel refill area, everything- superb!

Not an expert but you replied good. Nothing is wrong; just needed a little more detail like a cake needs icing.
>Two thin coats with a gap of a few hours for curing time i.e the time needed for the wax to bond to paint.
>When you swipe your finger the wax should not smear but should stay hazy or come off depending on how hard you swiped it.

nxt is a synthetic polish and all synthetic polishes are suppose to be wiped off after a minute or two of application u arent suppose to let them dry like carnauba waxes!

NXT is very easy to wipe off if applied correctly.
make sure ur car body is cool and free of any dirt .pre wash or detailer wipe is good before applying it.apply very very thin layer and wipe off after a couple of minutes.
i usually apply it on whole car.it took me 5 to 7 min to apply it .than i wipe it off.
