Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Im not sure if this qualifies as detailing but I just can?t stand a dirty car! I opened up my seats to take out the seat covers when i peeked under the carpet.- It gave me a headache! I just couldn?t stand the dirt so I ripped open the interior having no idea what I was doing. Everything was literally bonded to the metal coating. I couldn?t do anything else at that time because iIt was twelve in the night and I put everything inside the house!

Woke up early next morning.
First attempted to wipe off the dirt with a damp microfiber but it only picked up fine dust particles.
The dilute shampoo mixture failed.
I got fed up and opened up the interior drains and carefully wet the interior with a hose.
Got a bottle of formula one shampoo and wet the mf directly with it.
Most of the dirt was off but the bonded stuff required some dilute presoak.
Washed again
Carefully dried everything
Washed the carpet by wetting it.
Then astonish carpet and upholstery cleaner was sprayed and rubbed with a mf towel
Hosed it off with pressure and hung it to dry.
Had lunch
Turtle ice paste wax on the interior for a little protection and shine.
By now the carpet was completely dried
The carpet was re-fitted.
Seats fitted.
By now it was evening and i was exhausted...
Covered her up!

Sir Masha'Allah bht khoob... barra dil ka zorr maangta hy yeh kaam I once did it on my mehran and took me one complete day (with a break of tea only)... but the results are so neat and tidy and for sure you'll be feeling clean from the inside

Bro was doing a project like this with my lil ride....after your done with the cleansing, spray some 3M rubberised undercoating as well......you`ll enjoy the quieter cabin, trust me ! Keep at it, what are you going to use to clean it all up ? An specific brushes ? Lemme see if I can find some pics

it surely requires huge time and efforts.

Just a simple car wash with water! nothing used... (not even the detailer spray)
Tyre dressed with a chinese tyre foam + turtle wax F21
Interior cleaned with a wet towel dried and then sprayed turtle wax F21.
The tyre mudgaurd areas cleaned with surf.

what a fantastic thread it is!! truly hardworking guys who spend great amount of time on the cars!! hats off guys!
i am new to this detailing world so need some assistance....kindly suggest me some products for detailing my new vigo(hardly two months old) and i notice swrils all over it...some kindly guide me some products and the procedure
also guide me about daily maintanace of the ride like washing an cleaning etc...!

MashaAllah. Now this is defined as detailing.....getting under hidden areas and working magic on them....great work bro and nice polishing. I wish i had some clearcoat on mine to polish too :(. Maintain your paint so it won't ever see a polish again and it will last a long time.

@omarabdullah022 lagta ha detailing ka nasha overdose ho gya :P. Masha Allah, big thumbs up to your work on maintaining a spotless finish. The interior looks like showroom condition. Please clean the rubber gear boot, the pedals and the seatbelts for a perfect finish.

Bilkul sahih samjha!
I realized the gear rubber was dirty when viewing photos on the computer...
