Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Nowadays everybody is using a foam lance. It is a good thing as it further reduces the risk of swirls but the person behind it should be using a proper stuff like Autofinesse avalanche or iron x snow soap. These cost 2.5k+ per liter and i dont think anybody can afford this without charging a hefty sum.
The most famous place in Karachi- Detail Pro, i myself think they are very good but they run for profits instead of pro products! Their luxurious wax coat is turtle hard shell and their sealant process is turtle sealer wax. That too for 5k rupees. I have feeling they use lemon max as their foaming agent. Look on the generator on the left side!

Waxed with Meguiars Gold Class around two weeks back with full surface prep. It does matter a lot! Even after 14 days of dust and mud, it beads during rain! Woke up this morning and I was delighted at the sight of it.

Not extrafantabulous, but still good for a normal range Carnauba Wax.

ohh mera cheeta Fawad bhai surp prep is everything , prep surface per to Cosmic be acchi lagti hai ye tu phir gold class hai

oh yes forgot to mention I used 3M P3000 Trizact pad for the purpose as the paint was not baked (wasn't hard to cut at all) and to avoid any damage I used the rotary not more than 4k revs
and yes the traces were not easy to remove , had to rub again mostly by hand to prepare the surface for polish and wax
Any ways sir I am a beginner , so I guess practise makes a man perfect - for that i'll be needing some time

Trizact leave tracer if used with rotary so next time use with hands or it also comes good with DA polisher

next time use water moist Trizact with hands and with very very less hand presure and in straight strocks , less presure and more strocks will remove tracers and will put very minor new tracer , since paint is new so even ultimate compound will give u very good outcomes inshallah

Woke up early next morning.
First attempted to wipe off the dirt with a damp microfiber but it only picked up fine dust particles.
The dilute shampoo mixture failed.
I got fed up and opened up the interior drains and carefully wet the interior with a hose.
Got a bottle of formula one shampoo and wet the mf directly with it.
Most of the dirt was off but the bonded stuff required some dilute presoak.
Washed again
Carefully dried everything
Washed the carpet by wetting it.
Then astonish carpet and upholstery cleaner was sprayed and rubbed with a mf towel
Hosed it off with pressure and hung it to dry.
Had lunch
Turtle ice paste wax on the interior for a little protection and shine.
By now the carpet was completely dried
The carpet was re-fitted.
Seats fitted.
By now it was evening and i was exhausted...
Covered her up!

Long life is ok..
but car pe mirror lagna chahiye na ta k hamari laddo sab se alag thalag dikhey..

than next time try Autofinesse tough polish and 2 coats of Autofinesse tough coat sealant and a layer of dodo juice light fantastic , inshallah hospital female docs will correct their lip gloss in ur car skin reflections

A professional car detailing center in Karachi, by the name of Speed Auto Care Car Detailing Center (SAC). Karachi certainly needed one.

Location: Main Shahrah-e-Quaideen, it comes on the beginning left hand side when you turn directly from Share-e-Faisal to Shahrah-e-Quaideen.

The guy who owns it is an old Pakwheeler as well.

That detailing center belongs to Khurram Fahim....throughly dedicated detailer....trust me this is one guy whose work I saw an wanted to reach up to ! I wish him all the best is his new venture........Karachi really needed it !

thnx alot sir - and yes I use trizact with water in a sprinkler bottle and always by hand , Never used it with rotary so far as im not an expert handling rotary
Only used rotary for compounding and polishing etc
Wet sanding eases things alot but we have to remove the white-ish residual layer on the applied area over and over again to check either we have reached the required cut or not - but still I always prefer wet sanding
And yes thanks again for the tips - will definitely improve my work next time

Interior detailed pics

Interior of this car was in real leather so dedicated top of line Italian leather kit used for cleaning and than sealing it as most of people use detergents or apc for leather cleaning which are harmful for leather finish and destroy leather sealing film from surface resulted leather color start coming off ( this call color bleeding ) so leather interior only clean and than seal with dedicated leather kits only.

2) Dodo Juice Born to slippy clay lube and 3M professional clay
3) Wet sanding of Front / Back bumpers to remove some scratches with 3M 2k grit paper and refined with 3M Hookit Trizact P3000
4) Dodo Juice Basic of Bling Shampoo with double bucket
5) Enginebay washed / Cleaned with Meguiars apc plus and dressed with Meguiars ultimate Protectant
6) Meguiar's M105 with Dodo Spin Doctor Rotary polisher and Meguiar's burgundy cutting pad
7) Whole Interior vacuum cleaning
8)All black trims , door black rubber trims, interior plastics electric steam washing and dedicated detailing brushes Dressed with Auto Finesse Spritz
9) leather seats cleaned and sealed with Italian Leather Master Kit.
10) Meguiar's M205 Flex Dual Action Polisher and Lake Country White ccs pad
11) DP coating prep polish with Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher with Lake Country Green ccs pad
12) 02 coats of DP Paint Coatings by hand ( with interval of 30 minutes each )with Lake Country coating applicator

Posting after a long long break. Here is the stuff used.

Washed with DODO Wax Safe Shampoo and just applied a coat of Carlack Carnauba :). The car was not fully dried, it was still a bit wet during the Carlack application.

Waited 30 min per requirement and took off the wax.
