very true, they are available at metro, however it has come to my knowledge that most of the suppliers have refused to offer warranty due to rising complaints, which is mostly because proper guidance on machine usage and its care is not provided and/or small machines are sold for tougher jobs which result in breakdowns. I, on the other hand, provide complete after sales service, spares and accessories
for the benefit of fellow PAKWHEELERS, here are a few guidelines that can prolong the life of your high pressure cleaner and prevent break downs:
1. Make sure that the water supply is continuous. running the machine without water would seriously damage the pump and seals.
2. Always turn on the water supply before you turn on the machine. make sure water temperature is not more then 50 degrees Celsius.
3. Always check and clean the water filter. if your machine did not come with a filter, it is necessary to install a filter to the water supply line. dust particles can damage the pump as well as choke the lines.
4. Always use liquid detergents with the pump. using surf can choke the lines.
5. For basic machines, try and not press the trigger gun continuously for more then 5 min. if it is necessary to use the machine for a long duration, release the trigger for a few seconds before continuing.
6. once finished using, turn off the machine, then turn off the water supply, and then press the trigger gun to release the pressure in pump. this is very important as the pressure inside can damage the seals over time.
7. and lastly, NEVER point the gun at a humans or animals. at close range, 100 bar pressure can tear skin and flesh.
Happy Cleaning!
