I am sure the details of washing and maintaining have been discussed in this thread some where but obv i cant go through the whole thread so if anyone can guide me to that page or tell me directly.
I would like to know the stuff which i should buy for regular washing and maintainence like cloths shampoo and further more the polishes for waxing and all and a lillte guide through the procedure would be better aswell

Hello everyone, just bought a new black swift and this will me the first car which i would be taking care of myself. You need to maintain it properly by washing and waxing it regularly.
No dry dusting- Only washing and waxing or (in extreme cases:P) Wipe with a wet Microfiber towel

Now you need to wash and wax your car every week to remove dust and grime accumulated over the week which is not visible to the naked eye. Then give a coat of wax and admire the shine.

You will need this stuff for washing:
-Two buckets
-Access to a hose
-Wash mitt
-mf towel
-mf washmitt
-a nice shampoo

Heres how we do it-
1. Wash the wheels and tires first so if you happen to splash wheel cleaner on it, you can wash it off later.
2. Rinse your vehicle gently with water to remove loose dirt.
3. Take two buckets. Pour water in one and add a capful of shampoo in it and give it a nice burst from the hose. Fill the other bucket with plain water.
4. Dip your washmitt in your shampoo bucket and start washing using as much shampoo water as possible. As you go onto another panel dip your washmitt in the other bucket and agitate to rinse the dirt on your washmitt and carry on. Always go from top to bottom
5. Once done with the whole car, hose it down to remove the shampoo.
6. Begin to dry with a mf cloth or megs water magnet.

Now put on a coat of wax. You need a wax and an applicator pad for this.

1. Make sure the vehicle is perfectly clean, is out of direct sunlight and is dry.
2. Take some wax onto your applicator pad and spread out evenly on the surface. as thin as possible.-Remember, less is more.
   3.Wait for it to dry to a haze.
3. Buff off with a microfiber cloth.
4. Follow up with a detailer spray if you want a little extra shine and lesser dust attraction.

Most important step.
Step back and admire the shine. Take pictures and upload them here.

You should stay away from synthetic waxes right now. It would be optional to give a sealant base coat but if i were you i would only feed your car's skin natural oils to increase depth and give a wet look.

You should buy

3.A carnauba wax- Dodo Juice purple haze or Meguiars gold class
4.A detailer spray-Turtle ice spray detailer.
5. A shampoo- Turtle ice shampoo.

where did you get it from ?
i am asking because i checked it from TOTAL Y-BLOCK DHA (Lahore) & he was asking Rs.280 for it.

Ab 30/-Rs bachanay k liay DHA say Kalma Chowk jana is not a feasible do... 280/-rs ka theek hai yaar.

i told him u r demanding too much for trim protector but he said sir pri ce kam nhi hogi

You forgot the claying part..... even if the car is new, there definitely will be imperfections on the paint surface...

Sorry about that lekin i did it on purpose.
Pehle detailing pey haath set ho jai, then he can move onto other things.
Waisey tou, he should also treat the brand new car with an abrasive because it is suzuki paint and has heavy orange peel.

Polishing and waxing are two different things. Leave polishing for now. Stick to waxing.
Its not necessary to wax every time. You can do it as often as you like and i'm going over three weeks on my car:P( exam issues)
Wash and give a detailer spray wipe. Only spray and wipe off and get a nice, sleek shiny surface with boosted colors.
(Its still not at alternative to wax)

I've been taught that a base sealant layer protects harmful contaminants from bonding and it gives a nice reflective layer. Water beads and rolls right off making washing easier. Another major advantage of a sealant is protection of UV rays from the sun.
You will get the same protection from a wax but it will last a much shorter period of time.

Wax protection lasts around 2-3 weeks and sealants usually last 4-6months. You will need detailer spray even if you have sealant.

One more thing- waxes increase depth and contain carnuaba which your black paint needs so it would be good to top up with wax frequently.
Sealants are made in order to protect paint for a long period of time and give average looks.

Sealant on the base and wax on top ensures the best of both worlds:)

bro im amazed to see that you have high intrest in detailing.
kindly tell me about sealent what is it how to use it ?
i have order a meguier car wash(shampoo) and a megiuer car polish this time now i have these items
1.3m paste wax
2.megiuer car polish
3.car wash (shampoo)
4.microfibre towel
5.apllier pad "the sponge type thing"
i had waxed my car but i think i had waxed it wrongly means from one angle its shinning and from other its like dirty so can i apply wax again and is it not damage my car paint because i have waxed it about 10-12 days back if ys then method is :
dip a cap of shampoo on water in bucket and shake it with hand apply this shampoo on the whole car wash it and allow to dry after that apply a coat of wax by pad to whole car body and leave it for a while and than wipe it of with microfibre.
so am i right its right way ?
and i dont know about polish plz tell me how to apply this to car ?

Sir.....simple...cleansing..nourishment.......megs clay......2 apps of glaze, with a 24 hour interval and lastly an app of wax with a power tool...to really massage it in !
