bro im amazed to see that you have high intrest in detailing.
kindly tell me about sealent what is it how to use it ?
i have order a meguier car wash(shampoo) and a megiuer car polish this time now i have these items
1.3m paste wax
2.megiuer car polish
3.car wash (shampoo)
4.microfibre towel
5.apllier pad "the sponge type thing"
i had waxed my car but i think i had waxed it wrongly means from one angle its shinning and from other its like dirty so can i apply wax again and is it not damage my car paint because i have waxed it about 10-12 days back if ys then method is :
dip a cap of shampoo on water in bucket and shake it with hand apply this shampoo on the whole car wash it and allow to dry after that apply a coat of wax by pad to whole car body and leave it for a while and than wipe it of with microfibre.
so am i right its right way ?
and i dont know about polish plz tell me how to apply this to car ?

You're not supposed to apply to the whole car and make the situation worse by leaving the wax to cake on. I never work on more than two panels at a time even though I usually work on a dinkie sized car.
Apply as thin as possible with a clean applicator pad and then buff off after no more than five minutes as long as its a wax. Work panel by panel by panel and take care of your equipment- always wash your mf cloths and applicator pads after use.

For meguiars polish, the application is slightly different.
Apply a thin layer while massaging in circular motions. Buff off immediately. Do not let it haze and work on a panel at a time.

Sealants are basically a stronger version of synthetic wax. You don't need this. You have a dark colour whose paint is dry. Keep it on natural oils only. Keep your paint as close as possible to carnauba.

Ultimate polish is good.
And there's no harm in giving two coats- intact it increases coverage and increases depth.

I always say- no one will take better care of your car than you yourself(unless its ahmad bhai and usman bhai:P)
Polishing and waxing are two different things. Leave polishing for now. Stick to waxing.
Its not necessary to wax every time. You can do it as often as you like and i'm going over three weeks on my car:P( exam issues)
Wash and give a detailer spray wipe. Only spray and wipe off and get a nice, sleek shiny surface with boosted colors.
(Its still not at alternative to wax)

I've been taught that a base sealant layer protects harmful contaminants from bonding and it gives a nice reflective layer. Water beads and rolls right off making washing easier. Another major advantage of a sealant is protection of UV rays from the sun.
You will get the same protection from a wax but it will last a much shorter period of time.

Wax protection lasts around 2-3 weeks and sealants usually last 4-6months. You will need detailer spray even if you have sealant.

One more thing- waxes increase depth and contain carnuaba which your black paint needs so it would be good to top up with wax frequently.
Sealants are made in order to protect paint for a long period of time and give average looks.

Sealant on the base and wax on top ensures the best of both worlds:)

One more thing i would like to ask and that is about the wheels as i am kind of a fan of shiny shoes on my car how to wash it and with what products to keep a perfect shine on it for the daily use of my car

Of course..
Detailing means you clean each and every nook and cranny of the vehicle including wheel wells and tires.
Wash the tires using sufi soap or if they are extremely dirty, surf. Dry with any cloth and give a coat of armorall tire foam:)

Salam to all the members and brothers who are as keen in detailing and love to see their cars shine as brand new all year long ..... I would like to thank brothers who gave me advice how to detail my car properly esp@ omarabdullah022 thanks so much for the lovely tip..... as I have a 2014 black corolla Gli which was a nightmare for.me to maintain cz of the dusty situation here in Abbottabad as it is the peak season for tourists and a lot of rush and dust now a days....... Just wanted to share.my experience

2. Sonax black liquid polish
3. Meguires ultimate paste wax

The results have been good but may I be guided how to get rid of the swirl marks ??? And am I detailing in the rite way??? Also I have herd a lot abt paint sealents esp the royal shield paint sealent can I know if that is a good choice??? As I have heard sealents are good for protection plus you have to maintain your car less bcz I have to go through the above mentioned process twice a month which I find hectic

Also I would like to know abt meguires clay and dodo juice products I knw there is a lot of info on the internet but I would like to know form the experience of members .... Here in abbottabad meguires, mothers, turtle and sonax products are available what should I use if I have the option BTW mothers and meguiris?? What brand of polish, wax detailer spray and at the end a sealent should I purchase as I have a black corolla and a white fortuner

Why do you apply on the whole car? This is not a sealant which requires a long hazing time.

If removal is difficult you are either:
-applying too much product
- waxing in direct sunlight allowing the wax to cake on the surface for a long time after it has already hazed.

Read up articles on auto geek and watch you tube videos.

Also @ omarabdullah022 bro I also used the technique where u mentioned to use the detailer spray at the end but when I did that either my method was wrong or I don't knw bcz it felt like I have removed the wax from the car as the shine went away plz rectify me in this matter also

what wax did you use? the thicker the layer you apply, the harder it will be to wipe it off. Leaving the wax for 15 mins is ok since it mostly recommend to let the wax haze out.

However, the thicker layer would mean that when you wipe it off, more of the residue will accumulate on the Mf cloth which means the resistance will increase. thus you would end up putting more pressure and force on the cloth.

Use a thin layer. just dab the applicator on the the wax surface, dont force swipe it across the wax. Fold the MF cloth four ways when wiping it off, this means you have enough cushioning under your palm and also you have 8 sides of the cloth to wipe the wax off.

Swirls are a result of improper cleaning methods like dry dusting. Only wash your car with the double bucket method with a proper car shampoo. I personally do not like Royal shield because of its fake plastic-y shine.
There will always be minor swirling, treat it with swirlx or ultimate compound.

For sealants, you have several options which all last 4-6months like
-Autofinesse tough coat
- Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant
- Klasse
- meguiars m21

These are far better options.
Clay bar your car, prepare the surface and then seal it. Maintain with a weekly wash followed by a detailer wipe.

if you are quick with your work, the easiest way is to number each panel you are applying the wax to.

eg, start with the right rear fender, move to the right rear and than the right front doors. once done get onto the right front fender and move to the left of the car starting with the left front panel, left front door, left rear door and finally left rear fender.

this should take you around 15-20 mins, which is more than enough time for the wax to haze and you can just start buffing away the wax starting from the right rear fender followed by the RRD, RFD, RFF, LFF, LFD, LRD and LRF.

next up comes the roof, hood and trunk. wax each part, eg start with the hood, followed by roof and finally trunk. and than just buff away in the same order. hood, roof, trunk.

ALWAYS read the instructions on the POT and follow that.. Believe me youll find much better results if you do it as per the instructions rather than going on the set pattern of 2 panels at a time..

Yes sir, you are right but what I'm trying to say is if a wax says "let it dry to a haze and buff off" I obviously wait until the wax passes the swipe test and then proceed;)
Some products say"do NOT let it haze" like 3m performance finish and meguiars ultimate polish.

how to remove blue paint from my cars white body ?? had an accident with a blue car.....

Use a mild abrasive ! Try with a cleaner wax...then head on to a polish an finally a comp. Dont forget to nourish it afterwards.....check on the surface after every few strokes just to make sure you dont go through !

It isn't that easy to remove wax bro! To check the presence of wax, look for water-beading.
It pretty tough to apply a detailer spray wrong. If working on a clean car, spray a little of the paint and spread out with an applicator pad and wipe with a mf cloth after that:)

@omarabdullah022 thank u so much for the advise as my car has swirl marks so when using the quick detailer I could see the minute scratches which were to a good extenet made less visible due to the polishing and waxing so I thought maybe I am applying to much of it that is removing the wax coat ..... Thank for removing my query inshallah shall stay in touch
