Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Aoa Khurrum.. I'll be calling you in a week or two for a detail on my black Reborn.

Could you PM me, or post here if you want, with the names of the products that you use? My paint will need a good polishing with a mild cutting polish.

My first try on my black city. Bought Mother california gold carnauba wax for 1800 and used this. Am quite impressed by the wax. It adds much needed depthness, darkness to the colour and excellent reflections. Was put getting seat covers so whole day i was busy so only got time at 4pm to wax the car so the pictures were taken quite late. Did two coats of the wax and finished by 7:15pm. Will again do two coats of the wax tommorow after washing with meguiars wash and wax(need opinion to wash or not wash) am then top it off qith meguiars ultimate wax.

Am really disappointed by the paint finish. The the paint is quite rough but after the applications of the wax the paint got a little bit smoother but i think it needs some work. Very poor paint quality, at the back near the number plate there is abnormal orange peel and that just shows the paint quality. My previous 04 city had much much better build quality and paint finiah was quite good with minimum orange peel. Hond ahas saved money from little little things. Like the carpet quality is quite poor and many other things.

I have noticed there are some spots in the paint, the finish isnt flawless so need help by experts to remove those spots. SO FOR NOW LET THE JUDGING BEGIN BY THE EXPERTS.

Will Inshallah do a complete photoshoot tommorow.

by ur words seems car skin need claying process , yes honda paint having orange peel and paint quality worst specialy from back tail near number plate area, my city having same condition, should give 8 to 12 hours curing time in between of 2 wax coats , if car is under car cover than tomorrow morning no need for shampoo wash , just detailer wipe would be enough however in just short time 4 wax coats are too much , fyi too many wax coats in such short time start reflecting yellowish/ goldinish tinch in paint

ok guys time to buy new wax im currently using gold class, should i go for it again or buy ulimate wax ? @vague ur reply needed bro, wax to be used on shimmering green and strong blue.

Yes i am fine but ride is ruined coz bhai ne kechar me phansa di di ti in tarnol...sara front Boob gaya ta upar se trolly se kecha to Hook he nigal gaya phir Crane se nikali abhi bohot he buri halat me hai....

I don't think natural waxes need to cure like synthetic sealers, but you're right.. Four coats in two days is a but much. Better to wait a week or two and then top up with one coat. Regardless, if he clays or polishes the car, it'll be a waste of wax.

Ok i will not apply another coat of wax. Next time ill clay the car the car then apply the wax.

I don't think natural waxes need to cure like synthetic sealers, but you're right.. Four coats in two days is a but much. Better to wait a week or two and then top up with one coat. Regardless, if he clays or polishes the car, it'll be a waste of wax.

gee uansari bhai, natural waxes also do need curing time to get best max outcomes of the wax before going for second layer , uncured natural wax will give poor bounding for 2nd layer , the cure times will range from 3 - 12 hours. The exact time will vary depending on the specific wax, how it was applied, temperature, humidity, etc. google it for more info or i can give u links

applying waxes on un preparied skin also a waste of wax or sealant as it will have poor bounding as well as poor optical results
yes claying will remove earlier layers of waxes and sealants but it will provide u very clean , even surface for max bounding ability for sealants or waxes

Mashallah no comparison of black fully treated skin
natural wax attracts tons of dust so detailer spray is must
car cover will also help to avoid much dust from surrounding constructions going on
