so,2day went to mega autos ,asked for a compoud and a MF cloth....compound costed 150rs and Mf was of only 40rs which i doubt isnt an mf cloth,he gave me a yellow colored cloth that is usually seen among the fellow bikers and taxi drivers,i had something else in mind for a mf cloth,,,,,nd how to apply a compoud on a car's surface?

How to apply rubbing compound??

Rubbing Compound is not designed for Clear Coat Type Paints its only designed for Single Stage Paint like White, Black etc..

Mostly Detailers are used Rubbing Compound for removing minor imperfection, Scratches and oxidation from paint.

First of All Wash your car with double budget method > Clay > again wash > Rubbing Compound (can use by Hand or Machine) > Polish > Sealant and finally wax....

i only got a wax and a compound with shampooo and my cars color is emint blue,i heard that compounds are used to remove swirls so i bought it.can i not just wash the car,apply wax and go to sleep

Which Brand do you have?

yes Swirls can only be removed with Proper Detailing (Compound,Polish etc) if your car have swirls you should detailed your car for removing it.. and after that only Wash and Wax will be needed preventively. For better Understanding PM me.

Bhai jaan, removing swirls is just the beginning of the story. How will you maintain the swril free finish.
If you have a daily driver it will be prone to some minor swirls. What I do is that I never cover my car when dirty, I leave it dirty until I can wash it with the doubke bucket method myself and it always has a coat of wax on it. Also make sure that your tools are super clean. If you have a speck of dirt on the applicator pad while waxing- it will royally swirl uo your car until it miraculously gets off.

If you're a crazy detailer like me who can donate half an hour for washing everyday, then ultimate compound and ultimate polish topped up with a wax. If not, dont waste your clear coat and stick to ultimate polish ans wax only.- you can add a nice glaze to mask the swirls temporarily too.

Remember- no dry dusting- wash with the double bucket method, detailer spray and wipe with mf cloth if the dirt is less or rinse free wash in a spray bottle.

Every one is busy in Detailing cars ... Usman bhai apne studion mein, Aamir bhai thand enjoy kar rahy hyn, Ahmed bhai out of Pakistan, Durrani ka kuch pta ni (he is in backstage now a days), Omar Abdullah filhal exams k baad ki holidays enjoy kr raha, Abdul Hayee bhai is also on backstage, Ali bhai (KV) is also on backstage, Hamza bhai Luxury cars detail krny mein busy hyn, and me just got free from mehman nawazi and in coming week will detail my ride if and only if havent got any home chores after office hours....

Usman bhai is prolly very busy at the studio because he's expanding it into an oil change and dry denting thing too. (I think)
Plus he recently launched microfiber cloths. My fingers are crossed for dc detailer spray

Watch Opticoat @ work. The car is not washed for 4 weeks now. Rain dust everything is on the car paint (watch it in 1080 for true experience, if your bandwidth allows) I think its worth the investment and one should apply it if budget permits.
