Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

@ ahmad_yar! Last time you helped me alot with your tips regarding engine bay detailing. Now again need your help:

Please tell me how to effectively clean door hinges and pillars? Although I regularly clean these after washing with the same cloth that I use for car drying, but dust has started to accumulate in hard to reach areas there. So suggestions needed regarding whether to use car shampoo or detergent or something else? And what is the best way to apply and dry the product? Thanks in advance

This is the project which i hope to do. BTW next generation pro detailer in the making. He did a marvellous job on the wheels.

I sold my Red Lancer and bought a Mercedes. I am not feeling well for the last few days and today it was raining so the detailing has been on hold.

Today I started cleaning the interior of the car with Mothers Reflection Leather. Few pics of the seats and console



You can see the difference in the leather after cleaning. Mother Reflections Leather is great but you need to rub a lot, :'(. will post more pictures later on.

Pleased to see u again

Ahmad bhai I use apc to wash/ clean such areas , same way as u cleaned engine bay , use some brushes like u can easily get paint brushes from hard ware stores

Use microfiber to dry area and apply grese in necessery areas as apc will washout grese as well and on painted area I use sealants for longer protection , for rubber parts use any tyer dresser even interior detailer will also serve the purpose

Tks God u use leather cleaner otherwise I know one person who used surf / foam to washout his civic leather seats , resulted weaken the leaher finish and colour bleeding started from leather
No doubt mothers reflection leather give good cleaning

On my mobile phone screen work seems very good mashallha
And its not easy to clean such complicated diesl engine

tried APC today
not myself though
sprayed the solution directly,used brush...sprayed water then i think it was degreasant n then used cloth....n engine is pretty good now MASHALLAH
