guys need feedback on a idea, i had an idea to construct a extremely simple gloss-o-meter, a device which can measure a value of glossiness of paint and two different cars can be compared that way, what do you think? will show pics and demonstrate it soon, its so simple

the yellow and black one is a soft bristle brush just for tyres it comes in the Kenco motorcycle detailing kit, easily available at metro hyper star green valley etc, the black and decker brush is a detailing brush which can be used on clear coat without causing any scratches, it was a part of a kit i got as a gift form abroad, the kit includes a attachment to attach to a water pipe and it has 4 different heads and many different nozzles which can also be used with a pressure washer, no idea where to get it in pakistan

basically it would be a ruler placed vertical on a flat panel like trunk with the zero on the bottom, we would then see how high a number on the ruler we can clearly read in the reflection of the ruler on the paint!, it would give a measurable quantity to measure depth:P part form being a fun gimmick, will demonstrate it soon in a day or two

Salam to all fellows, got hands on a accord 88 and it is begging me for inter cleaning, can any1 please guide me exact and reliable place to get this job done with light on pocket?? i am not looking to bring it to its top notch, but i am willing that its compartment looks bit neat and clean (considering i m not in a mood to expand 3k or 5k for this job). please do guide which will be highly appreciated by me.

Here i present my new ride - Corolla Altis 2009-10 SR.

Just bought this beauty a day before, so decided to detail her.
Alhamdullillah the detailing went really well and the outcome was just perfect.

I did really basic job - Wash & Wax, still i couldn't believe that it's my car :P.
I'm just loving the pop flakes on the paint.

Products used : Turtle Platinum Shampoo - Turtle Platinum Wax

BTW the colour is also capable of producing such shine. I'm just loving it !

yaaaawr products k liye khuwaaarh ona parega... can you please suggest some useful products which would be required along with availability place. it would be pretty difficult for me to go through every page and find my self. hope you understand what i mean.

Go to naheed super market and buy two bottles of astonish carpet and upholstery cleaner
spray on
Agitate with a damp mf till it lathers up
Wipe with a dry mf.

For the dashboard nothing but meguiars quik interior detailer or turtle ice interior cleaner and protectant. These have cleaners which clean and protect your plastics at the same time.

You will also need some mf cloths and a nice Vaccum cleaner.

Happy detailing.

simple wash with turtle rinse free. Not even a detailer wipe...(~5 days ago)

Go to naheed super market and buy two bottles of astonish carpet and upholstery cleaner
spray on
Agitate with a damp mf till it lathers up
Wipe with a dry mf.
