Finally a full on detail today,
washed with double bucket method, dried with a microfibre, applied F1 scratchout on head and tail lights,
two coats of MGUPW, wiped with a clean microfibre, then dressed the tyres with Astonish wheel cleaner, later dressed the interior with a solution a cousin brought from UK.

Here i present my new ride - Corolla Altis 2009-10 SR.

Just bought this beauty a day before, so decided to detail her.
Alhamdullillah the detailing went really well and the outcome was just perfect.

I did really basic job - Wash & Wax, still i couldn't believe that it's my car :P.
I'm just loving the pop flakes on the paint.

Products used : Turtle Platinum Shampoo - Turtle Platinum Wax

BTW the colour is also capable of producing such shine. I'm just loving it !

The pics might be dark since these were captured at 1:30 am and that too in low light

Yani keh kaam choori........but acha hai.....kuch dair pehlay jo itni mehnat ki thi....would be very annoyed agar aaj bhi aap koi rotary wala maal dikhatay ! Pat on the back kiddo !

detailed the engine bay of my Altis, started with meguiars super degreaser, worked on top of the hood first, cleaned the hood cover using a extra diluted version of it, and used a detailing brush to create a lather then followed up with steam machine using various attachments, then set to work on the engine, megs degreaser which was rinsed by steam then followed by megs hyper dressing then used a blower to dry, cotton bud, brushes etc were used to make sure nooks and crannies weren't missed, even cut the skin of my finger the part where the radiator attaches to the body is sharp steel, after completing everything started the car with fingers crossed just in case not that i was worried:P hardly used any water, used less than half a litre of water which was used to dilute hyper dressing and degreaser and used in steam machine, nourished all rubber as well
only final shots of hood, i forgot to take before shots but i was pretty dirty

Not my best work but without any engine degreaser, this is the best i could pull off with our 2004 Prado.
Did the whole interior (carpet/seats/trim) plus exterior (bumpers/trim/tires).

1) No Degreaser so used high pressure water + a mf cloth to remove any soft dirt. Couldn't do alot with the tough grime
2) Autoglym Vinyle & Rubber care on engine plastics + rubber tubing's

3) Astonish Black Shine Restorer on the Wheels + Inner Fender Plastics

4) Autoglym Bumper&Trim Gel on Bumpers + All exterior black trims
5) Autoglym Bumper&Trim Gel on Inner trim

6) ArmorAll Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner **

7) Meguiar's Odor Eliminator (Thanks to @ahmad_yar)

** The AA C&U cleaner is an excellent product... managed to removed rust stains from the cargo carpet where an old cooking gas cylinder had been placed. It is a tad bit expensive though.

• Any dark spots on the carpet/seats u see is due to them being the foamy type. They will look a lighter shade when u pass a cloth one way and darker when its passed the other way.

Dont mind those grey mats. They look stupid but better at retaining dirt than the previous flat clear plastic ones.

also did the wheel arches after iftaar with steam rod tied to a towel, worked well only took less than 6 min

also used the rod and towel to clean the lower portions of the engine as well as these two brushes, the tiny brush works great on nooks and cranies and on plastic on top of the fire wall

next time as a improvement i just bought this little thing, its a pressure sprayer, can be used with a degreaser, it sprays a contasnt stream of liquid with pressure instead of push push push action and its nozzle doesn't get destroyed after a couple of uses with chemicals unlike the regular ones, it has markings on it as well which makes it easier to get the dilution ratios right, could be used in placed of a rinse free wash as well filled with car shampoo
also got a tiny size kiev for pouring the degreasers etc in stye spray bottle, i always manage to spill some, highly recommended:)

yes exactly no worries if you use steam and degreaser, in altis they have also attached a sticker prohibiting water so same situation
